Great experience! - Great small group experience, ended up just being our family of 4. The captain was knowledgeable about the area and answered the many questions we had. We were able to see otters, sea lions, bald eagles and whales. Easy to find from the cruise ship.

Amazing day with Rick. - What an amazing trip we had with Rick yesterday. if you are going to Sitka you need to do this tour. Rick only takes a max of 6 people on his boat and he knows where to find the action. We saw Humpback, Grey and killer whales along with seals and otters. Rick was wonderful and a great boat captain. Fantastic experience!

What a great tour. - Such a great tour and Rick was absolutely great. He got us on Orca ad. humpback Whales. We were able to see Bears and Otters. So knowledge of the area. This is a great excursion and he is a top notch operator.

Book with Rick! - Our tour guide, Rick, was absolutely amazing! He is a local who grew up on the waters of the sound. He knows what waters to avoid to keep you safe and knows exactly where to find wildlife. We saw sea lions, otters, a mama bear and her cub, bald eagles, and tons of whales. We really enjoyed talking with Rick. He is very respectful of the waters and the animals who inhabit those waters; you can tell how much he loves his hometown of Sitka. His boat is so unique and is a great way to see some stunning scenery, my husband and I would highly recommend him and his tour!

Whales galore on boat tour - The boat tour was exciting. We saw several hump back and gray whales, sea otters, sea lions, and eagles. Mother Nature took our breath away despite the cold weather.

Fantastic! - This was very enjoyable for our family of four. Captain Ricky was knowledgeable and knew where to take us to see whales and sea lions. We enjoyed it very much!

Whale Watching in Sitka - Captain Rick was very knowledgeable and accommodating on our Whale Watching and Wildlife Shore Excursion. As a native of Sitka, Captain Rick was able to share a lot of his knowledge with many interesting facts. With just my husband and I on board, we had a very enjoyable excursion. We saw sea otters feeding and whales spouting, and diving underwater. It was very enjoyable.

Amazing - I did a whale watching tour, they did give a disclaimer that it wasn’t guaranteed that we’d see anything. But wow, we ended up seeing a lot of things. The whales came up to our boat, unfortunately I didn’t take a picture because I really wanted to take in the moment and it was fast. We saw a bear coming out of hibernation that was looking for food. Our tour guide was very friendly and provided lots of information, binoculars and snacks. The tour was a small group so it was easy to accommodate everyone.

Best. Day. Ever. - This was the most amzing day! Our Captain was born and bred here, he knows his stuff. We saw otters, sea lions, eagles and their nests and humpback whales!! And it was so chill and exhilarating at the same time. The boat goes really fast but then lays still so you can enjoy the whales. The. Best. Day. Ever! I loved every minute of it. They also have snacks and drinks and stories and explanations. I am so happy we chose this tour. Other tours were crowded but we were a small and lovely group. Really really recommend this tour, you won’t regret it.

Amazing, awesome, and beautiful! - My son and I went on a tour with Captain Rick and it was AMAZING! The boat is comfortable with great viewing outside and inside the cabin. We had perfect weather and allowed us to see so many amazing places and animals including otters, sea lions, puffins, and whales! Rick was incredibly knowledgeable, flexible (going to look for the wildlife we most wanted to see), and beyond kind. Any one in Sitka should definitely go on this tour!
