Overpriced Patmos Tour - I enjoyed our private tour guide and driver, but felt the tour was way overpriced for what was received. We thought the beach part of tour would be an actual place where we could get in the water but was a drive by the water. Our tour guide did try to make up for it and we had a lovely drink at a restaurant next to the water. Lunch was not available, however, as it was before noon. Tour lasted about 3.25 hours which was less than advertised. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. I would still recommend but hopefully price will be adjusted for future travelers.

Save $ and hire a taxi. - What we were able to see was incredible, but the driver did not speak any English at all. The car was old, with a bad tire, wobbled & did not have air conditioning. We were to have an English speaking driver, but did not pay for a licensed guide. Our driver could not communicate with us at all. We also thought we had him for the day for the $500+ cost, & found out later it was only for 4 hours. Our driver did take us to the beach & pick us up to return to our ship. We would have been better off hiring a taxi at the port.

Not worth money and beware - We had booked numerous other tours and never had problem. This one was the other extreme, We booked tour knowing we would need guide and pay additional as driver would add nothing. s indicated by others. Our guide was good and knowledgeable but at end she skipped the mansion and beach. When we contacted viator we were told we could not prove our point and driver and guide assured that we had not skipped anything which was absurd. This is expensive tour and not worth money. Even if all was included but certainly not worth it for what we received. One last point. On every other tour with a guide we were offered water. On this one no water and guide went and got water for herself and did not even ask much less supply.
