The journey commences from the esteemed VIP Arena Sports Center Boris Trajkovski, proceeding through various outskirts of Skopje until we reach the convergence point of the Treska and Vardar rivers, known as Sastav.

From there, we traverse through Saraj Park, a popular weekend getaway in the 1980s.

Our path then takes us to the villages of Krushopek and Shisevo. On reaching Shisevo, we follow the charming single track that runs along Treska River, terminating close to the Matka Power Plant - the first power plant established in Macedonia, still operating today. Within the vicinity of Matka Canyon, numerous extra activities present themselves including a boat journey to Cave Vrelo (one of the world’s deepest underwater caves), kayaking, hikes to the XIV century Saint Nikola Shishevski Monastery and rock climbing. A local dining option near Matka also exists for those wishing to grab a bite.
