Highlights
  • Orthodox Monastery Gračanica - Grachanica monastery built by the Serbian king Stefan Milutin in 1321 on the ruins of a 6th-century basilica.
The monastery was declared a Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1990 and in 2006 it was placed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
Please be dressed properly for visits inside the monastery church.
  • Pristina - Pristina - the capital and largest city of Kosovo, also is the administrative center of the country.
  • Prizren - Picturesque town of Prizren is located on the south east part of the country and it is designated as the historical capital of Kosovo. The old bazaar, Sinan pasha mosque, Orthodox church of St George and the Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour make this town unique.
Prizren is one of the oldest settlements in Kosovo and the western Balkans. Archaeological excavations in Prizren Fortress indicate that its fortress area has seen habitation and use since the Bronze Age (ca. 2000 BCE). Prizren has been traditionally identified with the settlement of Theranda in Roman Dardania,
  • Kalaja Fortress - Prizren Fortress is a hilltop fortification overlooking the river which flows through Prizren, which developed around the fortress. The fortress is situated on a dominant hill at the eastern part of the town of Prizren, set on a strategic position, contoured with lines that follow distinguished features of the terrain’s natural morphology.
While in Prizren, you will have a chance to visit this site on your own, since the fortress is reachable after 20 min walking uphill.

A great day! - A really fantastic day! Our driver and guide was so knowledgeable and gave great insight into the history of Kosovo and even Macedonia! We managed to spend plenty of time in Pristina and even more in the beautiful Prisna. The tourist season hasn’t started yet so there were just three of us and it made for a really great private tour experience. Definitely recommend!

Day trip Kosovo - Everything was well organised! Because the two of us were the only ones registered that day, we went with a car instead of a van. This also saved a lot of time at the border. The man drives everywhere and you are dropped off at places where you walk with the woman and she tells all kinds of information. Dear all!

Nice trip around Kosovo - Tour guide took us to Pristina and Prizren. Gave us a history of the location. And main site. Spent alot of time on the road. Border control took awhile depending on traffic. Nice small group if you prefer that over large bus.

Amazing day-trip to Kosovo. - Stefan (sorry if I misspelled it) is an amazing guide, full of interesting facts and stories. He drives very well, he is calm and collected even of difficult roads, gives you a good mix between time exploring alone and guided time, and allows you to see all of Kosovo in one day. Would definitely recommend !

Surprisingly new country - Who knew they put up a statue of Bill Clinton under a big American flag in the Capitol. This full day tour covered a lot of ground and gave us a good introduction to the country. Everything seemed new. We didn’t see a single old house in its largest city. Modern super highways.Charming second city with a River rushing through the historic old town.
