- Ancient Theatre of Ohrid - Ancient Theater in Ohrid is located at the foot of the eastern slope of the higher Ohrid hill, under Samuel’s Fortress. The constructors built this ancient theater between two hills which protected it from winds, and thus the ancient theater has incredible acoustics. Because of its acoustics, it is chosen as one of the main stages where the Ohrid Summer Festival takes place.

Worth it! - We did not want to return without seeing this charming town, which is on the UNESCO world cultural heritage list. Lake Ohrid is a precious lake that hosts more than 200 fish species. We are very lucky to have chosen this tour. Communicating with the agency was very fast and easy. Local guide was so knowledgable and friendly. If u do not have enough time to stay here. I highly recommend this tour

a recommended tour - This was a very good tour. We were met at our hotel and driven to the various points of interest in Ohrid. The walking tour of the old town was excellent, accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide

My stupendous trip - We have visited 3 Balkan countries, and Ohrid was one of the highlights of our trip. Its much more prettier than on the photos, and wster is perfectly clear.
Tour did meet our expectations, and to daul away without the guide it would be pretty but much less interesting. Our guide bob was easy going polite and interesting and he made our day.
Hope to come back here with my family and stay longer, and for sure i will contact Balkan experience again.. They are very professional.

The beautiful old Ohrid - I enjoyed the landscape on the way to Ohrid. The guide Daniel provided me with a lot of information about this old town. The lake was so clear. The reconstruction of a prehistoric museum on the water called Bay of bones was something extraordinary. Visiting this place is a must.

Trip to Ohrid - The driver Toni and the guide Bob were such a good team. They were on time, informative, polite, and knowledgeable. Ohrid was something that I will always remember. Medieval churches, a great natural lake with crystal clear water, surrounded by high mountains. Bob recommended a restaurant by the lake and we enjoyed the specialty, grilled Ohrid trout. Thank you, team, you made our day!
