Kindly note: The Ramayana Ballet is not a daily event but typically happens every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. We suggest getting in touch with us to verify the schedule. Outdoor performances usually take place during the dry season (May to October), while the remainder of the year sees indoor performances.
- Special Note : Ramayana Ballet Show does not available everyday. Normally it will be held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Kindly please to contact us first to confirm the availability. The open air or outdoor show only available in dry season from Mei to October, the rest will be held indoor.

An immersive cultural experience not to be missed - This tour provided us with an unforgettable experience. If you want a fully immersive cultural experience this is the tour for you. We were picked up promptly by Pras in a comfortable vehicle. He provided useful and entertaining commentary on what to expect on the way to the temple. Jono the tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained not only the history but provided this in a cultural frame that helped us to better understand the performance we were about to see. Dinner was included in a fine restaurant with sweeping views of the temple. The performance was magical under the temple

A Magical Evening - This was a great experience! Eko made sure I had a smooth transition between places and was very knowledgeable and patient. The guide at the temple was impressive and dinner and of course the ballet show were a perfect finishing touch to the day.

Prambanan great tour! - Tomo was an excellent driver. I felt safe and enjoyed his conversation. It was a pleasure to spend time with him during the tour. My guide at Prambanan was concise and provided an interesting and informative explanation without excess details. Ramayana dance was very fascinating and fun

Prambanan Temple and Ramayana Ballet - Excellent trip! The driver was very friendly and professional and the guide at Prambanan Temple was very knowledgeable about the cultural and environmental characteristics of the area! The Buffett provided was varied and tasty, with many local dishes on the menu.

The best way to experience Prambanan - Fantastic driver, tour guide, opera show, and experience, overall. Would highly recommend to do while in Jogjakarta. Very convenient package where you don't need to worry about a thing and can just enjoy the experience. The opera was a particular standout with very impressive choreography, music, and athleticism involved.

Magnificent day - Thanks to our driver Tomo for accompanying us from start to finish. Very punctual and flexible. He shared his history, his religion, his culture with us. I recommend it.
The temple is magnificent, there were not too many people so it was a pleasant visit.
The show to do, the costumes are incredible.

Amazing first day in Yogyakarta! - It was not just another ancient temple visit, it's a UNESCO heritage site. We went in the afternoon, and by the end of walking the sprawling grounds and temple complex, we caught the beautiful sunset. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture. After a buffet dinner, we were brought to the theatre for the Ramaya ballet performance. English speaking driver, Eko who was very attentive made the tour and travel with ease from point to point!

Viator should rely on this tour operator - The driver, knowledgeable and cooperative, passed us to a guide during the temple visit. Unfortunately, the guide, despite being knowledgeable, was hurried, leaving us unattended and causing us to lose our way. It was later revealed that he was only paid for a 90-minute visit, information he failed to share upfront. He declined to accompany us to the golf carts, leaving us stranded in the temple courtyard. Before leaving, he mentioned the golf carts but was unaware of their operating hours — when we arrived, they had already ceased operations for the day and we were forced to walk for a mile directionless. Additionally, the temple guide departed without informing our driver, making it difficult for him to locate us. Despite a satisfactory dinner, the assured VIP seats for the Ramayana dance were not provided after a date change. Even though the tour operator knew about the indoor performance and the limited VIP seats, the promise was not fulfilled. Overall, the experience fell short of the money spent.
