Decent trip! - Got the red (I see Malta) boat from Sliema. Luckily asked one of the reps the day before about what time to arrive for the 10am set off- which she said 9:30 to get a good seat. Glad we did as it was every man for himself after that, getting a good chair on the boat. Sit on the bottom if you want air-con, as there isn’t any on the top! Arrived in Gozo first and as we hadn’t booked any onward taxi/ bus, we just hoped on a bus by the Harbor and headed to Victoria. 2pm pick up from Gozo and then went to Blue Lagoon, Comino. We purchased/ rented an umbrella from the IseeMalta chaps on the boat as there is NO SHADE on Blue Lagoon. As pretty as blue lagoon is, it was so overcrowded with barely any space to sit down and getting in and out of the water on the rocks was ridiculous. Got picked up at 4pm and went back to Sliema. Journeys were pretty decent overall. Bring lots of water and snacks, but you can get food in Gozo and Comino. Take towels and lots of sun cream.

Busy, dirty, hot don’t bother - Do not go. We went in august, Gozo was ok but be watery. When we got off was told pay the man with coaches and he’ll take you Victoria and back. He crammed us in in way and said he’ll be there at 2-2( to take us back. He turned up 2.24 and left at 2.25 without waiting for the bus to be full. Comino island was crazy crazy busy, there is no beach, I repeat there is no beach. We had 3 hours wedged in a rock in an area no bigger than half a 6 yard box which was the ‘beach’ but with hundreds in the baking sun as there is no shade, very dangerous. The boat dropped us off and we climbed steep rocky steps with no handrail. The lagoon was too busy to enjoy and dangerous as ferry boats were back and forth not caring about who’s in water. There was litter and filth everywhere in sea and on rocks which has ruined what must have been once a beautiful location and we wished we stayed at hotel. The only good thing was the boat had air con. The St Paul’s pick up point on a ledge behind a swimming pool wasn’t clearly explained and there is the usual thing of everyone but British not caring about queue system and literally the foreigners will push women and children out the way. To sum up boat lovely trips not worth it, in peak summer at least Tips don’t go, but if going watch bus operator on Gozo don’t go comino if elderly, disabled or with young children The boat hires out parasols or take one with you as you’ll roast in the sun on comino Go of season as it might be quieter
