- Cuber - This artificial pond hides a secret from the ancient conquests of Mallorca. This is one of the largest reservoirs on the island. It is an artificial body of water that is installed at the foot of Puig Major and its main function is to supply water to the city of Palma de Mallorca and its surroundings. On this excursion, we will ascend two among the island’s 54 peaks that exceed 1,000 meters, namely Puig de sa Font (1,028 m) and Morro d’Almatlutx (1,058 m). Our journey commences at sa Font des Prat. From there, we will set course towards the Cúber reservoir, taking in some exciting mountain passes before veering towards the first apex. Upon reaching the second peak, we will retrace our steps back to the trail leading to the Font des Prat. The panoramic views from the peaks are awe-inspiring, particularly from puig de ses Vinyes or Puig Major.
