Lovely day out! - Radu was an excellent and very knowledgeable host throughout. The salt mine is stunning, absolutely worth visiting, but don't bother with the planetarium inside, really poor graphics in Super Volcanoes. The restaurant stop gives lovely views, the house wines are really good, red and white. Quite expensive at first glance but there are cheaper options which were delicious. Vlad's grave may or may not be his but a lovely spot.

Salt mine & Winery - We had a fantastic trip to the salt mine and winery for lunch with wine tasting with our private guide Catalin. Catalin was very knowledgeable and made sure our trip went smoothly from start to finish and showed us where to stand to take photos and told us all the history of where we were visiting. When we arrived at the winery for lunch, he went through the menu with us and explained anything we weren’t sure about and told us all the specialties that România are famous for. We can highly recommend Catalin for any trips you are considering booking. In our experience taking a private tour with a private guide is far better than going on a couch with 50 plus other people, which we did on another trip with a different guide. Thank you Catalin for making our day very special.

Romanian Salt Mine Trip - The salt mine was incredible. Seeing such a massive carved out cavern so deep underground and learning about the history of the workers (many were prisoners) was an education.

Salt Mine, Winery, Dracula Grave 5* Day Tour - can not recommend enough for a great experience of Romania - We lucked out with Catalin who took us on this private tour! We were met ahead of schedule, he whatsapp'd the day before to inform of pick up and also what the weather was to be like, which was great. Safe driver & was very knowledgeable about Romania which we spent the day talking about, in between the tour of the Winery & Dracula's cave. The mines were incredible, an experience definitely not to be missed and got more out of this with Catalin telling us the history of the place, how it was made, who was there, down to carvings on the wall - even recommended the good picture spots!! The winery drive was so enjoyable and when we arrived service was great, with a selection of wines that was hard to choose from! Catalin recommended some typical Romanian dishes, which we both really enjoyed! Then we visited Dracula's Grave, where we had many questions, and all answered! Superb! My partner & I have travelled all round the world and done many tours and this was definitely one of the best we've ever experienced. We are from Texas & Scotland, and have tricky accents, which Catalin did great with and was also knowledgeable about both places to have some great conversations in the day we spent together! At the end Catalin also went that extra mile as we had wanted to visit a brewery, and he took us there, stayed with us to enjoy a beer and took us back - which was a lot more than we had expected! Thank you for a great tour & for great memories of Romania! I wish we had booked more trips with you!

Underground Romamian countryside tour - A very unique experience. The salt mines are mine blowing and we got there at a good time (before it got too busy). The Casa Seciu restaurant is the perfect spot to have lunch in the country. The service at the restaurant was slow but our tour guide, Bogdan was accommodating. He also helped us stay on schedule which allowed us to see everything we wanted to see and get back in time on a comfortable schedule. 100% recommend this tour!

Salt mine amazing, Mircea great host - Mircea was our tour guide and he was great. He spoke English very well and helped us speak to the locals on the way! His knowledge of Romania and its history is better than any Wikipedia page you could find. He was attentive and let us go at our own pace and let the day flow nicely. The salt mine is mesmerising, the food and wine was great and to visit Vlad’s tomb was a good experience. Would recommend Mircea to anybody.
