- Vale do Rei - We will start from the Vale do Rei for a 2 hour round walk, which includes some ascents. Fitness is necessary, but the hike is classified as an easy one. We hike through eucalyptus and cork oak forests, past 2 lakes and always have beautiful views. Back at the Quinta, we will have a wonderful vegetarian or vegan meal with everything the vegetable-loving heart desires. Food intolerances or allergies are taken into account we just need to know in advance.

Mango cream - Mango, vegetarian cream, lemon peel, honey mixed and served with some fresh bluberries
The stroll is a hidden gem: we accommodate small clusters of 2-8 individuals. The path is largely devoid of others. We are perpetually surrounded by remarkable views of the stunning lakescape and quintessential Portuguese flora, including cork oaks, pines, eucalyptus trees and the beautiful blossoms of wild plants in spring. Occasional gentle rises have to be conquered, but we ensure the comfort of all members and want each one to feel right at home. After the stroll, the homely moment comes with our widely assorted vegetable snacks, supplemented by our delightful home-made teas or a satisfying cup of coffee.
