Totally worth it, Ves is a great guide. - Great tour, Ves was friendly and I really enjoyed his detailed explanations not only about the monument but overall about Bulgaria and the Thracian past. He gave me helpful tips and even on the way back dropped me off at the museum of history right before it closed so I got some cool pics thanks to him.

Concrete and roses - An amazing day of contrasts, from the surreal concrete flying saucer to the beautiful fields of roses. Our guide was funny and helpful, and would stop anywhere for us to take photos (storks nesting, mountains). It is a long journey to the monument but stunning countryside all the way. As of 2022 you cannot enter the monument, but it is hoped to be renovated by 2023. Our highlight was completely random and unplanned — dancing with a group of Romanians in front of the monument! That’s the beauty of travel. A monumental day.

Wonderful experience in extremely beautiful monastery - I had full day tour with Traventuria, with Martin as our guide. He is knowledgable and super fun. He makes every second is enjoyable during the trip. Visit to Boyana is quick but adequate enough, as the property is not really big and under strict guidance. But we managed to explore everything and gets the best of it. Rila monastery is a must visit. Beautiful compound, well preserved and is still active. Also good to have fresh air of the mountainous surroundins. Totally pleasant experience
