Great week at the Bulgarian mountains - We are a group of friends who were guided by Kiril in Bulgaria’s mountains (Rila, Pirin, Rodophy). The selection of the trails was excellent, confident guidance, a lot of knowledge, very god personal communication with the group members.

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED - We went on a school trip to Bulgaria with Azimut Tours led by Kiril and the others and thoroughly enjoyed it! I would strongly recommend Azimut Tours to anyone who wants to have a great time. We spent five days together during which we did a plethora of activities ranging from hiking the Pirin mountains to rafting in Kresna Gorge. Kiril put a lot of work into the preparation itself and was more than willing to share all the information with us and make changes whenever necessary. He communicated all his ideas clearly and met with us online when we asked for it. Kiril was also more than willing to modify the programme based on our needs. It became clear very early that he is passionate and enthusiastic about his job and wants to do what is best for his clients. He provided everything necessary (bus from/to the airport, other transportation, accommodation, local tour guides etc.) and proved to be a valuable and experienced tour guide who will ensure that his clients will have a great time. Kiril is extremely knowledgeable as well and shared a lot of interesting personal stories with us. His team was also extremely patient and waited for us without any complaints. In conclusion, I would strongly recommend Azimut Tours as I have personally never met or worked with anyone as passionate and client-oriented as Kiril and his team. I am looking forward to our future cooperation.

Rila mountan is super - The trip was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G ! We started the tour at the morning being picked up by the guide , in the comfortable car and drove with him up to the Rila national park. Then we had a ski lift ascend and seen some amazing winter views of the park. The tour itself took us through the most spectacular views and panorams, with the great explanation from our awesome guide . The air is clean, the snow is soft and fluffy and the great company of people made our day. After the Rila national park we drove to the thermal pools, there were two options inside pools or outside ones,so we choose the outside pools, for the experience. The place had 2 different pools ( actually much more of that 4-5 pools there was maybe) but we tried the two one less hot and one is way warmer with the amazing view of the snowy mountain. Very interesting experience. A bit of advice - take some cash with you , because not every place have an internet connection to pay with a card and at the thermal pools the towel and the slippers are must have! We had such an amazing experience with the trip that we booked another trip through the same company:) wholeheartedly advising the winter tour to rila lakes , to the true experience of winter views and panorams:)

Away from the crowds - I fully recommend Azimut Tours. This was one of a number of great days with them. Our guide, Kiril, knew all the trails, gave us some options and tailored the day taking us on a route away from the main tourist trail with some extra little challenges we really enjoyed. To find peace and tranquillity with beautiful scenery in such a well visited spot was magical. Relaxing in the thermal waters was great end to the day

Gorgeous excursion with excellent guide! - The tour was excellent! Kiril supported us very carefully before the start of the tour. We were worried about the weather and he quickly answered all our questions. The tour was led by his best friend - Georgi. He was a very good and educated person with great life experience. He was able to convey to us what the Bulgarians love Bulgaria so much for. He showed the real deep truthful history of this region. We were even able to feel part of this wonderful region for a while. The lakes were amazing and it's the worth thing to see at least once in your life. After a long climb, we were perfectly relaxed in the private hot tub. And we had the option to also visit and see a really cool resort with outdoor pools and tubs with amazing mountain views. Separeva Banya is a good city for recreation! I highly recommend visiting the Rila Lakes with Azimut tours. The guides are really helpful, responsible and it was interesting to discuss everything with them. We even booked another trip with them, because on this trip we felt like we were guided by our very good Bulgarian friend, whom we have known for many years :)

Wonderful - Unfortunately we couldn’t do the Lakes due to weather conditions. But Kiril had an alternative that is highly recommended and we enjoyed every bit of it. Also Kiril's knowledge about Bulgaria is very valuable. We definitely looking forward to come back and do the lakes!

Amazing trip - Very good trip with kosta as our guide. He was very patient and accommodating even when things didn’t work out with the chair lift. The view was amazing, there was a lot of snow on the top, even in may, so remember winter shoes. The thermal springs were very comfortable with a good view over the mountains.

Very good - Very responsive operator. Guide very patient and kind. Incredible landscape views. The description said this is a walking tour for beginners but that was not my experiance. Snow hiking was difficult with steep climbing. Be sure to contact the operator before-hand to fully understand the equipment needed and any extra costs.

We didnt get what we have paid for - The guide should have cancelled the trip. The cabin to the top didnt work(the guide should have checked that before we leavingSofia.) we walk up to the top and down again, just under the cabins. The weather was very cloudy, and much snow - so we couldnt go to the lakes, the guide must have known this before leaving town. He choose a NOT safe way to go. We are real dissapointed - we didnt get what we have paid for. No one could do something about the weather, but we mean that the trip sholuld been cancelled!!! By the way, we were picked up by a by guide private car without seat belts, i regret that we jumped in to that car.
