This is the time that you will learn from your guide more about Bulgarian history, culture, economy and nature.
  • Plovdiv Old Town - As one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, cosmopolitan Plovdiv is packed with fascinating Thracian, Roman, Slav, Turkish and Bulgarian history. With your guide, enjoy a 2.5-hour walking tour on the cobbled narrow paths in the Old Town of Plovdiv. Explore and learn about all its major highlights including the finest examples of Bulgarian Rennaissance town architecture, the spectacular 2nd-century Ancient Theater, the Roman Stadium, Plovdiv’s Ethnographic Museum and much more.
  • Plovdiv Old Town - After the guided tour of the Old Town, you will have about an hour and a half to further independently explore the attractions of the city centre. You can have lunch (own expense) or go shopping on “Glavnata”- the longest pedestrian in Europe. You can get entertained by some of the artistic events organized in the heart of the city while Plovdiv is celebrating its nomination as the European Capital of Culture for 2019. A lot of tourists choose to wander in the Kapana neighbourhood - a place with a bohemian vibe, chic bars and beautiful graffiti. The region of Plovdiv is famous for its wine production and in Kapana you will find options to sample some of the local red or white wines.

A Hidden Gew! - What an amazing place to visit. Rich in history, culture and well preserved historic sites. Vibrant old town for shopping, dining, or just strolling around town. I only wish I stayed a couple nights to fully explore and enjoy this place.

Amazing tour guide - Martin was an exceptional guide! Funny and informative tour of the city. Only downside is the tour doesn’t include the ancient theatre entry ticket (this is an extra cost) which I assumed it did as on the page it says “tour of theatre”

The day tour was good... - The day tour was good with great walking tour of Plovdiv old town and shopping area. I would have loved to stay at least 1 hour longer to allow enough time for lunch and more exploring of the old town in the free time. The transfer was 2 hours each way plus 1 hour walking tour plus 1,5 hours free time which had to include lunch.

Interesting city but tour too short to see it all - Plovdiv has an interesting old city area and lively shopping area and is worth a visit. Trip we booked wasn’t as expected. It was described as 3 hour guided tour and 2 hours free time. In reality it was total 3ish hours with about 45 mins guided walk and 2 1/2 hours free time. There wasn’t enough time to visit everywhere in that time frame. It would have been better to get there and back independently if possible.

Wasted plans - This tour is total misrepresented. Only thing correct is its a full day trip. Left at 8am back to starting poin at 6:30pm. Full day Plovdiv is incorrect, as 2 hour drive there,2 hour boring tour 1 .5 hours free timethen back in bus to another town 1.5 hours away with 45 min tour of the city and 45 min free time then 1.5 hour drive back to starting point. Booking states tour by 365 group which is Free tour group but was done by Traveloria guide instead.ticket says 2 admissions to 2 museums none provided. Overall waste of day .Only salvation was I can say I saw to cities learned a few things about Bulgarian history and saw the countryside.

Disappointing Customer Service - I do not recommend this company. I booked to go on a day trip to Plovdiv. I left my hotel early to get to the meeting point but the google maps directions I was sent got me totally lost. I tried calling and WhatsApp ing the contact numbers I was given but got no response. As a result, I arrived about 5 minutes after the bus had left. The tour operators had my number and claim to have tried to call me but that is untrue. I have no missed calls. My WhatsApp was responded to at 8:17 which was pointless. The office staff were arrogant and would not give me a refund. I therefore had to go on an alternative tour to a church and monastery which I found extremely boring. It was a long drive to see very little. A day wasted - so disappointing.
