Great day trip! - Our guide was great! During the outward journey she told many interesting things in very good English. In Plovdiv we were taken for two hours along beautiful places, what a beautiful place! We enjoyed and learned a lot, not only from Plovdiv, but also from Bulgaria!

A magnificent journey to Plovdiv - This tour was absolutely wonderful.... Plovdiv is a magical town with a fascinating history and so many beautiful sights that represent it's era during the Byzantine as well as the Roman as well as the Ottoman and then the Soviet control of this important area....We were lucky to have Lubo as our guide....he's so knowledgeable about the history of the place but more importantly he made this adventure really fun....I really had a wonderful and a very memorable experience.

A superb day out - Plovdiv is a lovely city and worth a visit in itself with its large variety of shops, bars and restaurants. It has a wonderful relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We had the benefit of a very knowledgable guide who took us through the amazing old historic centre including the Roman amphitheatre. Lots of historic sites to visit from the cities long history. A good mix of guided tour with plenty of free time in which to have a meal or to further explore areas of the city on your own. All on all this was a superb day out and a great way to visit the city.

Nice town and with a visit if you have seen Sofia - Plovdiv is a lovely town, especially the old part. Our walk through there was really nice and the guide gave interesting and useful information. Unfortunately we went on a Monday so most of the museums were closed. We probably wouldn’t have had much time to see one anyway as once the walking tour was over we only had 2h to find lunch then get back for the return journey. The rest of the town isn’t anything very special so if the museums are open my advice would be to try and grab a quick pizza slice and go visit one of them!

Amazing tour guide - Martin was an exceptional guide! Funny and informative tour of the city. Only downside is the tour doesn’t include the ancient theatre entry ticket (this is an extra cost) which I assumed it did as on the page it says “tour of theatre”

Plovdiv day trip - The mini bus was uncomfortable. Seats were low, I was not able to see much of the outside during the 4 hours back and forth drive. The tour was organized in a way to give less time in the old town, more time in the shopping street. I expected the opposite arrangement.

Wasted plans - This tour is total misrepresented. Only thing correct is its a full day trip. Left at 8am back to starting poin at 6:30pm. Full day Plovdiv is incorrect, as 2 hour drive there,2 hour boring tour 1 .5 hours free timethen back in bus to another town 1.5 hours away with 45 min tour of the city and 45 min free time then 1.5 hour drive back to starting point. Booking states tour by 365 group which is Free tour group but was done by Traveloria guide instead.ticket says 2 admissions to 2 museums none provided. Overall waste of day .Only salvation was I can say I saw to cities learned a few things about Bulgarian history and saw the countryside.

Disappointing Customer Service - I do not recommend this company. I booked to go on a day trip to Plovdiv. I left my hotel early to get to the meeting point but the google maps directions I was sent got me totally lost. I tried calling and WhatsApp ing the contact numbers I was given but got no response. As a result, I arrived about 5 minutes after the bus had left. The tour operators had my number and claim to have tried to call me but that is untrue. I have no missed calls. My WhatsApp was responded to at 8:17 which was pointless. The office staff were arrogant and would not give me a refund. I therefore had to go on an alternative tour to a church and monastery which I found extremely boring. It was a long drive to see very little. A day wasted - so disappointing.
