A guide who speaks English will collect you from the designated meeting place in Sofia at 9:00AM. Following a roughly 2-hour scenic drive, we will reach the border of Serbia.
Upon crossing the Serbian border, our journey takes us to the nearby Bosilegrad, a notable location in former Yugoslavia, before returning across the Bulgarian border towards Northern Macedonia.
Another brief drive lands us at the stunning Osogovo Monastery, a mesmerizing site with a history dating back to the 12th Century, that has since transitioned from mosque to church. Bask in the tranquility and take a leisurely stroll around the gorgeous premises. Afterward, we’ll stop for lunch to savor delicious Macedonian grill (choice of meat or fish) accompanied by a Skopsko beer.
