The tour takes you through the historic neighbourhoods of Langholmen, Södermalm, Gamla Stan, Kungsholmen, and Lila Essingen. You’ll paddle under charming bridges, past colourful buildings, and through peaceful waterways. The experienced guide will provide insights into the city’s history and culture.
This is an alternative to boring walking tours, as the kayak tour allows you to explore Stockholm’s most scenic locations at your own pace. Whether you’re exploring solo or with friends and family, this kayak tour is the perfect way to experience Stockholm.
We provide tandem kayaks by default (more stable), but single kayaks (previous experience required) can be requested.

Great way to see Stockholm - This was the perfect way to spend an afternoon in Stockholm!

A nice break from walking around - I went with my GF as we had been mostly eating around town for our vacation and wanted to fit in some quick exercise while also seeing parts of the city. The kayaks are nice and the gear is maintained pretty well. It was physically challenging but at the same time worth it in the end since you get to see so much. Your guide helped us pace and gave us great tips to work together in order to control the kayak more efficiently.

Fantastic winter fun in Stockholm - Such a great way to start the New year.

Wonderful sunny time on the water - What a great way to spend an afternoon! We had a gorgeous day of sunshine and spent 2hrs kayaking through Central Stockholm and onto the lake. Our guide Bobby was great and friendly and kept us safe and chatted with us about Stockholm as well as answering all variety of questions! I was slightly anxious about being on the water as I'm not a confident swimmer yet but Bobby put me at ease and the life jackets together with the stability of the beautiful kayaks (2 person) made it a wonderful experience. Would definitely do again and a longer tour next time.

Great experience for both experienced kayakers and newbies - Amazing trip with a great guide! Worked great for those in our group who were experienced kayakers, as well as myself who as a complete newbie. Get to see the city from a completely new perspective.

Stockholm from a different perspective in real kayaks. - After arriving from an overnight flight we were unsure of our stamina for kayaking but René was right in encouraging us to join him and another couple on an incredible 3 hr tour of this spectacular city. Using real fiberglass kayaks (not plastic sit-on-tops) with a rudder, resistance was minimal and steering smooth. Advice on handling waves and wind completed the equipment & coach combo. Throw in deep knowledge of the area and you have a start to a holiday unlike any other.

Perfect way to experience beautiful Stockholm - Great tour, and perfect way to experience beautiful Stockholm. Our guide Bobby was brilliant, very friendly and informative. Safety & equipment used was all to an excellent standard. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to do a bit of active sightseeing.

Amazing way to explore central Stockholm - Combination of physical exercise and local culture. The guide was excellent in dealing with us, always willing to offer us a different vision of Stockholm, its places, customs and recommendations to do and visit in the city. The physical or technical level was not a problem, you could paddle alone or in a double kayak. The waters were very calm and there was no fear of capsizing. Without a doubt, a highly recommended activity

Defective kayaks - Some of their kayaks are defective. When I tried mine, I told the guide that my back was against something pointy and hard. He said “yes, the soft backing is sliding down” he pulled it up. But as soon as I sat down again, my back was against the hard plastic bar edge again. “No worries,” he said and stuck a piece of cloth behond my back. Well, it didnt work. My back hurts now over 24 hours later. My daughter had the same experience in the other kayak. They should really invest in buying some new kayaks.
