Cochin International Airport - Upon your arrival at Kochi Airport, our representative will greet you and we will drive to Munnar in a private car. Check into the hotel and unwind for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at a 3 Star Resort.

Neriamangalam Bridge - Upon arrival at Kochi airport, our representative will welcome you at the arrival terminal. We will then drive to Munnar, stopping at waterfalls along the way. You can also pause at Neriamangalam bridge to view the Periyar river. Take breaks at Valara waterfalls and Cheeyappara Waterfalls en route to Munnar. Check into the resort. Overnight stay at the resort in Munnar.

Munnar and Kerala backwaters refreshed - Hi Team, I had a chance to visit munnar,Thekkady,Alleppey and kochi through IRIS holidays. The major best support was Mr Vipin sir who was our guide and driver for the whole trip. He helped us with everything and also helped us with everything . In munnar we stayed in Aranyaka Resorts which was awesome where our room was just opposite to the waterfalls. The food there were great. Thekkady was good except for the hotel called holiday vista which was the worst hotel of my life. In Alleppey we stayed in another awesome resort called world backwaters which was awesome. The team of IRIS holidays was lead by Sreelakshmi who is an associate and was very helpful . The best person to be with us was Vipin who drove his Toyota etios along with us and lived along us. Very helpful and very humble..For future travellers please request him as your driver which will enhance the journey.

If you are going to Kerala, just contact IRIS Holidays! - I just got back after an amazing memorable 6-night trip to Kerala, thanks to Iris Holidays, George, and Lalan. Initially, I was very skeptical about a 6-night trip due to the COVID situation. I traveled solo and I was concerned about my safety and COVID situation. After seeing reviews of several solo female travelers on TripAdvisor, I decided to go ahead. This turned out to the best decision for the trip. Right from the beginning, George was very accommodating. Given my apprehensions, especially about traveling during the ongoing pandemic, a lot of changes were made to the itinerary and George patiently made all the required changes. Once confirmed, I transferred the advance. George very thoughtfully assigned Mr. Lalan as my driver for the entire trip. Lalan's language skills made communication very easy. In my previous trips to Kerala, language has always been a minor issue but this time, I faced no such issues. I was extremely happy when Lalan called me before the trip started talking in my language. Vijeesh, from the transport department, ensured that I enrolled and took the visitor pass and guided me accordingly. During the trip, everything went perfectly. The hotel that George reserved for me, Hycinth Hotel, was very good. All COVID precautions were being taken and I instantly felt at ease. Hycinth staff was also very friendly and attended to all requests very promptly. During the trip, George and Vijeesh texted me to check if everything is going fine. A special thanks to Lalan sir. He always ensured that I am safe. I went on a small hike and he joined me as the area was isolated. His presence never felt intrusive and I always had my space. He also doubled up as my guide and explained a lot of details about the places we were visiting. He ensured that I didn't miss any place worth visiting and even suggested places that weren't mentioned in the guide book. He almost felt like a family member. He also made payments when I wasn't carrying my purse. Lalan sir made my trip very smooth, comfortable, and memorable. I thoroughly enjoyed my solo trip. I highly recommend IRIS Holidays, irrespective of your group size (solo, family, or friends), group dynamics, and preference. I am looking forward to more such trips in Kerala with IRIS!

Great trip! - Had a great trip with Iris Holidays. Was on business in India, and decided to do a side trip to Kerala so I booked a trip with Iris Holidays. My driver, Manoj, was very attentive and helpful throughout my stay. The food and accommodations were overall good/satisfactory, and the trip scenery was fantastic. Would recommend.

Kerala tour - Just returned from an amazing couple of weeks in Kerala, enjoyed the beautiful Indian countryside and people. Our tour was well organised by Iris travel and made extra special by our driver Senu who was a great driver, a very knowledgeable and patient guide and keen to tailor our holiday to our specific interests. Thank you Iris travel and Senu. We’ve fallen in love with Kerala and will definitely be back 😁

Kerala tour - I have just returned from a 10 day trip to Kerala My trip was organised through George Joseph at Iris holidays and I was well taken care of As a solo mature female traveller I felt safe throughout. My driver for 5 days Mohan was excellent and navigate windy roads competently My hotels were very good and when 1 problem arose George resolved everything effectively I have no hesitation in recommending Iris holidays to anyone planning to visit the beautiful area of Kerala

A taste of 'Gods own Country' - My tour through Iris Holidays was a once in a lifetime experience that was truly unforgettable. The Munnar tea gardens was as picturesque and beautiful as I had imagined while the overnight houseboat stay was an escape into the amazing serene backwaters from Kumarakom. My highlights range from the warm welcoming reception I received form Phillip in his homestay in Thekkady to the deliciously exquisite fresh food cooked on the houseboat by the lovely man whose name I forget so I will refer to him as uncle. A special thanks to Vipin my driver. As a solo traveler he was not only an excellent driver but also my mini tour guide, always on time and with a smile and some Kerala fact on hand. A thoroughly well organised tour for those traveling on their own and wanting to get a real essence of what Kerala 'Gods own Country' has to offer.

Memorable tour of Wayanad - We had a personalised tour of the Wayanad region of Kerala, including 3 nights stay, a driver and multiple local tourism sites. Our driver, Shaju, was fantastic. Punctual, professional, friendly and warm - giving us a really personal and comfortable trip. Getting to know him and the region from his perspective was one of our highlights. Some of the key tourist sites were closed in Wayanad which we weren’t aware of until we started the trip. This was slightly disappointing to have not known in advance, as we understand the sites were closed the whole season. Alternative options were made available and we got to personalise our trip each day, with Shaju offering flexibility and quick planning. Our accommodation, Kedara village, was a fantastic cottage nestled in the countryside of Wayanad, with several great rooms/cottages to choose from. Our experience was slightly mixed at Kedara - with unnecessarily loud music put on by the staff on Friday and Saturday nights, not something we were expecting in the quiet countryside of Wayanad. Otherwise the cottage was comfortable, clean and found in a beautiful setting, and the food and service from the staff was good. Overall the trip was fantastic and highly recommended. Iris holidays are prompt with contact and flexible when it comes to arrangements and we look forward to returning to Wayanad one day.
