Fantastic scenery and fun Shopping - I loved seeing all the three villages. Each had its own unique story. The little shops in all were great. The beaches were beautiful and love our boat ride in Amalfi. Lunch was prearranged on a hotel rooftop with spectacular views. Ravello had beautiful ceramic ware. Our guide was very experienced driving through all the villages on those very winding roads. The time was well planned and accommodating.

Great Experience - There are so many people. Don't try to do this on your own. It was worth every penny to go with a guide.

EXCELLENT TRIP, DIFFICULT TO HEAR DRIVER. - THE LADY DRIVER WAS LOVELY, KNOWLEGABLE AND PROFESSIONAL, BUT WE COULD'NT HEAR WHAT SHE WAS SAYING FROM THE BACK SEATS, MEANING SHE HAD TO REPEAT HERSELF A FEW TIMES. THE VIEWS WERE STUNNING AND WE HAD TIME TO LOOK ROUND AND APPRECIATE THE PLACES TO WENT TO, POSITANO AMALFI AND RAVELLO.

Okay - Nice to have someone drive you but no information about the towns at all. Nice stop for lunch. Wish the guide made suggestions for what to do in the town. No information except when to be back at the car.

Not what I expected….rain didn’t help and neither did the tour guide - Benjamin, our tour guide, started out high energy, telling us his gift to us is his time, and we don’t have to worry about a watch. The tour was already scheduled to be 8 hours long, so I don’t think anybody (we were a group of 7 people) wished to make it longer, however, it was nice to know we could assumingly do some things at our leisure. it was a drizzling kind of day, with rain on and off at the beginning. Benjamin’s first comment was he would drop us off in Positano so we would have time to shop and walk the local streets, which we did, and was as enjoyable as it could be with quite a bit of rain. Benjamin, on the drive to Positano, mentioned that there was a boat tour we could go on when we got to Amalfi that went along the coast that was a “must do“, as it would give us the full view of the Amalfi coast from the water. He did mention that it was about an hour and would be an additional $20….that being said, if it was a nice day, I am sure most of the others and myself would have been eager and happy to go on the boat. One of the members of the group was already feeling carsick just from the 40 minute ride from Sorrento and Positano and due to the weather, we each individually decided we did not want to go on the boat. When Benjamin thought we were all going on the boat, he told us, he would pick us up at about 1 o’clock after the boat, and allowing us some time to shop. At this point, it was 1130. Once we all told him, we did not want to go on the boat, his whole demeanor changed. He kept insisting that we must go on the boat and we won’t be happy unless we do so. We all stuck to our decision and said we do not wish to go on the boat and then suddenly he said well then I’ll meet you back at the car in an hour which was 1230 and I will make reservations for us to go to this place and Ravello for lunch for 1 o’clock, ok? Lunch was not included as part of the tour, but I guess we all felt a little bad for not going on the boat, so we agreed to go to this place for lunch that he recommended. At this point, it was also very obvious that he was promoting these two things for his own personal gain/kickback. After finishing at Amalfi, we drove to the restaurant at the very top of a cliff in Ravello. The view would’ve been beautiful had it not been raining. The restaurant itself was a lovely restaurant, where he obviously knew everybody. The menu was quite expensive in the scheme of things, with the least expensive item being a €10 piece of lemon cake for dessert. Appetizers were €18 and more. A plate of pasta started at €24. Two of the people on the tour refused to get anything to eat, one person decided just to get the cake and myself and two other people ordered a pasta dish. The food was very good, however, in all three towns there were multiple places to stop and get anything you wanted to eat in your own time, so we were all quite annoyed, that we were pretty much forced to eat at this restaurant, which was very much out of the way, and basically took away a good amount of our time to spend in Ravello, or any of the other towns. (By the way, Positano and Amalfi were so incredibly touristy and crowded. I’m glad I went but I am not sure that I would take a trip there. Possibly a difference in Lebanon would help know I am not too sure about that) We were also told by Benjamin at the beginning of our tour to not buy any of the ceramic pieces from the local tourist shops, and he would bring us to a big ceramic factory store on the way back. We did do that after walking around Ravello for a short period of time in the middle of a thunderstorm. Upon walking into the ceramics store, three of the people stayed in the car, and Benjamin was talking to one of the other tour guides, obviously someone he knew, and though my Italian is decent but by no means fluent, I was able to understand him, saying something to the other man about “these tourists” and it was not anything that was a pleasantry. Also, throughout the entire drive, Benjamin spent a good portion of the time on his phone, talking on the phone and texting, holding the phone between his ear and his shoulder with his head tilted, and in his hand while texting. This made everyone extremely uncomfortable, especially while driving on the winding streets of the Amalfi coast. The entire ride back, he did not say a word, played some music, and it was probably a good hour to get back to the hotel. As we were approaching our destinations, he made sure to mention that he hoped we enjoyed our trip and that if we did, we should give him a tip to show our appreciation. I have been on several tours, and always have tipped a tour guide, and have never been asked so bluntly to do so. I did tip him, but not nearly what he would’ve gotten had he done things differently. He did stress that he has been doing this for 10 years on a regular basis. Perhaps it’s time for him to throw in the towel in or get a refresher course on how to get to be a tour guide.

Beautiful towns, interesting drive! - I did the 3 day tours from Sorrento (Pompeii and Herculaneum, Amalfi Coast, and Naples and this was my least favorite. Don’t get me wrong the three towns of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello were all superb as expected but the structure could have been better. It wasn’t so much a tour as a ride with commentary and a seeming desire to on-sell other products. The bus was a small 10 seater and was a bit cramped and stuffy. Having said that our driver Giovanni did an amazing job. It is certainly not a road I’d like to navigate on my own. Be prepared to wait up to 10 minutes to go around a bend in some places!! We were also taken to a ceramics shop which I personally found unnecessary. We were offered a 45 minute boat trip which despite being a bit choppy was worthwhile. We were strongly encouraged - actually badgered into taking the lunch option. This annoyed me as it ended up costing more than the already inflated 15 euro for pizza and a drink promised (they charged for the water) and restaurant was also slow and ate into the little bit of free time we did have in Amalfi. Our guide / commentator was nice and doing what she had been asked. In the end the scenery was spectacular, the villages beautiful and I’m glad I did it. If you would find being cramped in a small bus all day a problem then my advice would be to take the boat tour to each village instead, but then driving that road is an experience in itself!!

Terrible experience - stay away!!!! - Brutal experience and would recommend avoiding at all cost! My wife and I booked this tour on our honeymoon through Expedia and upon booking, the tour mentioned "Hotel pickup and Dropoff" included (See picture). The morning of our tour, we waited outside our hotel for 20 minutes before receiving a call asking where we were, surprised at this question, we informed them that we were under the impression we would be picked up as we had no form of communication indication otherwise. They told us we had to be at a location 30 minutes away in the next 10 minutes or they would leave without us. We could not re-book the tour because we were leaving the following day. When we asked for a refund, they mentioned it was "impossible" and would not do it. This was repeated to everything we said or asked for about 2-3 minutes. No communication was provided to us that we had to be at a different location morning of and were going off what was listed in the description of the tour. Overall terrible customer service and experience, I would be very hesitant to use this tour company and would not recommend it to anyone.
