Get picked up from your lodging or the closest meetup point by your chauffeur and tour guide. Drive along the Sorrento Coast, taking in the view of the bay of Naples en route to Pompeii. Take a 2-hour guided tour through the archaeological site with a knowledgeable and authorized local guide, delving into the lives of the Ancient Romans, exploring the primary public monuments, the Forum, and several homes within the ruins of Pompeii. Enjoy some downtime, perhaps following our tour guide’s lunch recommendation. Embark on the journey towards Mount Vesuvius; gather your entry ticket from the guide and, at your own leisure, hike to the top of the volcano, savoring the beautiful sight of the Gulf of Naples. If interested, listen to the commentary provided by a volcano guide at the crater (included in your ticket). Resume your pickup spot where your guide and driver will wait for you, and unwind during the drive back to Sorrento.

Excellent trip - Loved it!
Lovely and informative guide who gave great history about Pompeii and Vesuvius. Was about 8ish hours, bring a light coat as Vesuvius was a bit chilly at the top

Great tour - We were picked up at a local hotel in Sorrento, Great tour of Pompeii, then a bus ride to Vesuvius. Our tour guide was great, and the driver did a great job. Unfortunately, our tour mates who dared to climb the rest of Vesuvius couldn't see a thing. My photo of the tree looks great, but no other visibility. Cleared up on our ride back to Sorrento. Oh well. Great tour regardless....can't help the weather! Very highly recommended!

Fantastic views!! - This was an excursion from our hotel in Sorrento, it really was the best day out I've ever had. The views were phenomenal, & I'm glad we managed the trek up from the car park to the top, as it was well worth it 👌.

Pompeii and Versuvius (Lunch inc.) - Booked this trip online before we arrived in Sorrento and were told well in advance where we would be picked up and what time. The pick up location was a 2 min walk from our Hotel and the bus was on time.
Our guide Antonio was fantastic throughout the day.
We had the tour booked with lunch included and when we booked it expected a packed lunch or similar. Instead we had a great 3 course meal at a resteraunt half way up Versuvius.
A great day at both locations.

A must do when visiting this part of the world. -
My partner and I loved this trip. The coach journey was a little nerve-wracking at first as they were quite late (we realised everything in Sorrento runs late!) But once we where on, it was brilliant. Dropped off at Pompeii first where we had an excellent tour guide Luigi who knew everything. It was really hot, but he knew the best spots to stop and catch the breeze. Back at the coach we went to Mt Vesuvius which was insane. You don't have to climb to the top but we did. It is steep and slippy in places but the views are insane. Lots of stop points for a drink if you want. We had enough time to stomp up and back down to meet the coach.
Once back, we went to get some lunch (may have been before the mountain now I think about it). Lots of people on our trip had a pre booked meal. Now we didn't know that this was the only place to eat and neither did anyone else who hadn't pre booked. So we literally had no other option. It was nice food and drink for a fixed fee of €20 each (pizza, pasta or salad). Plus an ice cream in a tub. So either bring a packed lunch or eat at this one restaurant!
We got dropped back to near our pick up point, we actually asked to be dropped off somewhere closer to our hotel and the coach driver was fine with this.
It was a brilliant day. Not for young children unless they're up for a lot of walking in the heat and love the historical side.

Amazing scenery - I have been mesmerised by the professional team which guide us to this amazing experience Giro the driver and Rose the guide.& and the lady guiding us to the ruins of Pompei..

Excellent tour of Vesuvius and Pompei. - Excellent tour of Vesuvius and Pompei. Comfortable coach, and Rossa the tour guide was delightful. The tour guide at Pompei was very theatrical and engaging. Brilliant experience, happy to recommend.

Toni's Tour - The Pompeii and Vesuvius Tour was an Excellent day out and can Highly Recommend it.
Toni Our Guide was Friendly, Very Informative and Jovial for the Duration of the Two Experiences.
The only downside of the Day was the lack of Toilets at Vesuvius,there was a Portaloo at the but was for staff only,considering the amount of Visitors the place attracts I think it's a Lack of Foresight.

Option to get picked up from our hotel was a bad idea! - Booking clearly said pick up was from the hotel. After waiting patiently for 30min for our bus to arrive we rang the tour operator and were told there was another pick up point, as the bus couldn’t reach our hotel. We were never told this ahead of time and the website allowed us to choose the hotel pick up option.
The operator then proceeded to tell us we were wrong but it’s clearly stated on the booking. We missed the one tour we wanted to do.
Refund was prompt but no offer to fix the situation was offered. Just a bad mannered tour guide who got it wrong.
