Wander around a residential neighbourhood with a knowledgeable guide, visiting established restaurants. All the dishes are made from local and seasonal ingredients. The ‘menu’ may change, but staple foods like ‘parmigiana di melanzane’ are served with renowned local wine. Family recipe-based desserts and the ubiquitous limoncello round off this delightful Italian family-style culinary journey.
- PLEASE NOTE: The locations on this tour are located close to each other. We walk from one to the next, but the distances are minimal. Our primary focus is the food.

Gourmet Girls….a fantastic experience! - Gourmet Girls was an amazing evening and experience!! Vanessa and Lee were both extremely knowledgeable and very informative with the food, wine, and the local area. The restaurants we visited were welcoming and delightful….The food and wine we experienced were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and highly recommend for anyone wanting to get immersed into the local culture, cuisine, and lifestyle of Sorrento!

Enjoyable and tasty evening in Sorrento. - Enjoyable and tasty tour of Sorrento. The hosts were very personable and we enjoyed learning more about Italian cuisine. Their choices of restaurants and dishes were impeccable. The other guests were very nice and we enjoyed chatting with them. Overall, a very pleasurable evening and we recommend it!

Great experience of foods, wines and friendship. Wonderful way to experience and support the neighborhood businesses. - Our family had a great time with Vanessa and Lee on their tour. We visited four restaurants and experienced wonderful dishes and wines. They are both very knowledgeable and provided deep insights into the history of the foods we shared. However, best if all was the wonderful laughs we shared. Vanessa and Lee are quite a due and shared many great stories with us. You can tell that they truly enjoy their work and friendship and strive to make you part of their family. I would highly recommend the experience to others.

A must for experiencing authentic local cuisine - Every trip my wife and I take abroad we always plan for a local food tour. Its our way to experience a true emersion into local culture. After all isn't a culture greatly influenced by its cuisine.
After doing some research I chose the Gourmet Girls and am so pleased we did.
Since the girls live locally we were treated to specialties from small businesses away from the typical tourist areas.
The girls mixed historical tid bits presented with such genuine passion, humour and love for their local community.
Please dont miss this experience. Thank you girls for such a memorable experience.

Cozy food and wine get together - The ladies were Super friendly and knowledgeable of the local foods. They made the entire event very relaxed and everyone came together like one happy group. Very comfortable environment and food was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Just go ahead and book it - I had the best time on this tour. These ladies are so kind and well versed on Italian food culture. The food and wines were all amazing! I highly recommend doing at least one of their tours, if not both. I’m sad I wasn’t able to do the dinner tour this trip, but just an excuse to come back!

Absolutely phenomenal - This was one of the best food tours we have ever done …and we have done quite a few. Vanessa and Lee are just good crack, the food was amazing and the wine was free flowing. A lovely way to explore Sorrento, meet like minded people, taste great food and laugh ….when we return to Sorrento we will definitely book again. We cannot recommend this tour highly enough.
