air port pick up and Private Day trip to Cape Sounion - Our driver, John was great! He picked us up at the airport when we first arrived in Athens. He suggested for our return trip, since we were going to spend the night at a hotel near the airport, to book the half day trip to Cape Sounion. He picked us up at our hotel and took us to Cape Sounion with some stops along the way. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He made our last day in Greece very enjoyable. We ended the excursion at a taverna and he even called ahead to make sure that we would be able to get a table since it was Saturday afternoon. After this he dropped us off at our hotel near the airport.

Great Service - Glykeria was a great driver and informative. She told us plenty of Greek history and recommendations for shopping and eating places. Very considerate and also even provided alcohol sanitizer and wet tissue when we entered the taxi.

Perfect service - Serious and ponctual service, very friendly driver, much faster than the bus to get to cape Sounion.

lovely trip - Antonis drove us to Cape Sounion passing by the beautiful coast. He has a personal attachment to the places visited and this made the experience all the mightier. The Temple of Poseidon was impressive and the sunset stunning even though there were many clouds. On our way back he brought us to a lovely seafood restaurant, where we hade an outstanding dinner. Great trip to Cape Sounion - Manos, our driver, was great! He picked us up from our accommodation and was very informative along the scenic drive to Cape Sounion. Manos even had water and snacks for us in the car for the journey which was a lovely touch. He rang the ticket office when we arrived to make sure what time it closed so we would not miss visiting the Temple of Poseidon. We loved the trip and highly recommend it. Having Mano as our driver was a bonus!

What an amazing day! - What a wonderful day! We had a "free day" in Athens while waiting for our main Greek tour start, and we spent it by hiring a "private tour" (really a cab driver who was a native Athenian). We took this tour as a way of getting to the Temple of Poseidon without having to catch a tour bus, but got so much more than that. After picking us up at our hotel, our driver took us up Lycabettus Hill for one of the best view in Athens, and then out to the Temple of Poseidon while hitting different stops - the marinas are crazy with all the yachts! After we toured the temple (admission is separate!), we had a quick swim in the ocean and a really enjoyable fresh seafood lunch. Our cab driver was so interesting we invited him to accompany us to the meal, and we learned from his very different perspective on Greek life, culture, and the meaning of life - the center of the universe is Greece, and olive oil is the miracle cure to everything. Eating with a "real" Athenian at a good seafood restaurant helped us order things we might not have otherwise. We did treat him to the meal, but it was very affordable and like eating with a new friend. We hit all of the stops listed on the itinerary, and it ended up being one of our best days in Greece! The trip cost about $190 US - the price is somewhat misleading because the "advertised" price is divided out among more people. We only had two, so it was about $95 per person, but it was definitely worth it since it was highly personalized, we really loved our driver, and it was great not feeling like part of the tour group herd. Highly recommended if you have a free day and want to see the Temple of Poseidon (without the crowd!). It might have been a lot more pricey than the group bus trip, but you get what you pay for.

Good tour with local driver - This was a good your down to the Cape. The temple of poseidon was the goal and we saw it at sunset. Our driver Periklis was very knowledgeable about the area and is history

A MUST!! - This tour was one of the highlights of our holiday. Definitely a must see. Bring your cameras and get ready for the most beautiful sunset. Our tour guide was very prompt, professional and great to talk to. He also explain so much of the history to us and what we were visiting. It was a very beautiful experience for our whole family.

A Day of Adventure and Beauty - What a perfect decision it was to spend a day in the capable hands of Kimon and Welcome Pickups. We knew we wanted to see the coast of Greece and The Temple of Poseidon but we weren't sure what else to do. Best decision we ever made was to let our driver Kimon show us what he thought we ought to see. We ate fresh grilled fresh on the beach at a small taverna; saw Chaos, a mysterious, cavernous hole up close; ate the best Gelato in the Athen sunshine; visited a small port city on the Aegean; traveled through olive groves and hidden gems in Athens. We have memories that will bring smiles to our hearts forever.
