Highlights
  • Cape Town - Our journey kicks off in Cape Town, with pick-up from your accommodation between 8:00 and 9:00 AM. The exact time will be confirmed the day before. Cape Town is renowned for Table Mountain, Robben Island, the Cape of Good Hope, seals, wine tasting, and romantic honeymoons.

  • St James Beach - At Muizenberg’s St James Beach, visitors can admire the colorful beach huts and snap a few photos. These huts serve as changing rooms for sunbathers, and the tour guide will share their history. The beach is a popular surfing spot in Cape Town and is home to a surfing community, swimming pools, and vibrant wooden huts.

  • Simon’s Town - Established in 1679 by the second governor, Simon Van der Stel, Simon’s Town is the second oldest town in South Africa and hosts the South African Navy’s base. It was a former British headquarters under the Commonwealth until 1944, post-World War II. You’ll see the Martello House, the oldest British-built structure in the country and the oldest of its kind globally. It’s also home to African penguins.

  • Boulders Beach Penguin Colony - Located in Simon’s Town, Boulder’s Beach is one of Cape Town’s finest beaches. The warm waters from False Bay make it perfect for swimming and sunbathing. The main attraction is the charming African penguin colony. Visitors can see these adorable penguins in their natural habitat and take photos along the boardwalk. It’s the best spot for penguin sightseeing and enjoying Boulder’s Beach.

  • Cape of Good Hope - The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve is a highlight of the day. No visit to Cape Town is complete without a photo behind the Cape of Good Hope sign. Your tour guide will share the history of the Bartolomeu Dias and Vasco Da Gama beacons. The Cape of Good Hope is the southwesternmost point of the African continent, where the warm Agulhas and cold Benguela currents meet.

  • Cape Point Nature Reserve - Many travelers opt for a short hike from the Cape of Good Hope to the Cape Point lighthouse. If you prefer not to hike or are medically unfit, the guide will take you to the Flying Dutchman Funicular, which will transport you to the lighthouse (fee not included in the tour price). Cape Point is the official meeting point of the two ocean currents: the cold Benguela and the warm Agulhas currents. Cape Point is famous for the Dutchman Funicular, the old lighthouse, and its stunning views.

  • Chapman’s Peak Drive - Chapman’s Peak Drive is one of the most scenic routes in the world. We stop at the viewpoint where travelers will be amazed by the breathtaking views of mountain ranges and the vast ocean. The drive is one of the most rewarding panoramic routes in the country, if not the world. It hugs the near-vertical mountain face, linking Hout Bay to Noordhoek, with 114 curves over nine kilometers and standing 593 meters above sea level. Tourists and locals often stop at viewpoints along the drive. It’s known for sightseeing and capturing the best photos on any Cape Town tour.

  • Cape Town - We conclude our tour with a drop-off at your address or hotel in Cape Town. Cape Town is famous for Table Mountain, Robben Island, the Cape of Good Hope, wine tasting, and being a great honeymoon destination.

Cape of good hope lived up to expectations - A jam packed trip. We had a local guide who showed us around and took us to the various points. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see the highlights but doesnt have much time. We actually had a slight extension to the trip to fit in some more sites. Our guide also gave us a lot of information about the various places we visited.
