Definitely recommend - So much fun dressing up and getting pictures around the palace. The costume pieces were beautiful and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Horrible manager - I rented a hanbok from Hanboknam Changdeokgung branch on Tuesday 31 Oct. The store had a good selection and the young woman assigned to assist me was very helpful and kind. The manager of the store however was something else. When I came back to the store, I opened my locker and went to change up. When I came out a few minutes later, my locker was locked and the key on my locker door was gone. So I told the manager that one of her customers must have taken the key and used the locker. She didn’t bother to listen to me and talked over me and insisted I pay for the “lost” key. I tried again to explain to her that I did not lose the key as I had opened it to get my clothes out but to no avail. One of her staff tried to explain to her but she told her off and then a Korean customer tried to help me by explaining to the manager. She retorted “How do I know the customer would return to open the locker?”. I gave up and paid her 10,000 KRW as she refused to give me back my ID unless I pay her. It was a very bad experience. She is not fit to be a manager as she treats her customers with not just disrespect but disdain.
