OR

Maybe you are wanting your fix of the cute and cuddly (and some not so much) Australian Native Wildlife.
Well, now is your chance to get up close and personal with some of Australia’s best.
Do so at the Phillip Island Wildlife Park, where you will have the chance to pet a Kangaroo, say Hi to a Koala, Feed the Wallabies, and even get harassed by an Emu (in a nice way of course)
Note: this is are your own expense ($21pp) and will be in place of your times at Cowes

  • The Nobbies Centre - This is already one of Phillip Island’s main attractions, simply for the sheer beauty it possess - however, we visit this stunning spot right on Golden Hour, allowing us a perfect sight over the glistening waters and rocky cliffs.

Enjoy this moment with a Glass of Sparking Wine and Canapes, as you enjoy the views and take a walk along the boardwalk, taking in spectacular sights, and glimpses of native wildlife.

We depart from here along the back roads, providing us unparalleled views over Westernport Bay and Bass Strait, with even more wildlife to spot.

  • Phillip Island Nature Parks - Penguin Parade - A “must do” whilst in Melbourne/Victoria, the Penguin Parade has long been the star attraction of Phillip Island.

We arrive here early enough so as you can take some time in this world-class visitor centre, and grab a bite to eat from the cafe should you wish.

You will then make your way out to the Penguin Viewing Platform, awaiting the arrival of the stars of the shows - the Little Penguins.

As the sun begins to set, your ranger-guide will provide you information on these cute little creatures, and then you will see literally thousands of them make their way onto the beach and up the hill side.

Walk along the boardwalk as you get within inches of these native Australian Penguins, admiring their uniqueness and cuteness alike.

Once we have had our cuteness overload, we board back on the bus - making our way back to Melbourne…with plenty of good memories to accompany us for the journey back

The best tour during our trip in Australia - Fantastic trip, good communication, and greatly arranged. Ray was super friendly, and we loved his jokes and all the information regarding Melbie and the Philip’s Island. Ps. You won’t go hungry on this trip!

We adored the penguins! - Katelynn was an exceptional guide! The whole experience at the winery was fabulous, topped off with an amazing lunch. The ultimate experience was seeing the penguins! Truly a lifetime memory - but please honour the rules and don’t take photos. Enjoy the experience as you see it.

Penguins and much more - Sue our guide made the trip fantastic. It was so much more than the penguins. And the food and wine was wow. Plus it was such a small group which really made it fun.

Favourite excursion of the holiday - This trip was an absolute highlight for my husband, my friend and I from the very start to the very end. Rod was absolutely fabulous bringing all the group together and we had such a lot of laughs along the way. The wine tasting was very good and the accompanying cheese, crackers, meats, dips, cauliflower, olives and strawberries were absolutely delicious and plentiful. We also paid extra to see the koala bears and whilst we didn’t have long we managed to see five in their natural habitat and we also saw Wallabies. We then stopped along the way and had a group photograph on Phillip Island which will bring back lovely memories. We did see penguins but only about 20 but we were happy with this and they were very cute. Later on another couple joined the group and we all sat down together and shared pizza and whilst making new friends from all over the world. Thank you very much Rod for an extremely enjoyable day from the couple from Penrith, England and their friend from Sydney.

Great find. It's absolutely worth it - Really glad I took a tour with this company. The great parts: Caitlyn, our guide was a delight. She is incredibly well informed, prepared, funny, helpful, thoughtful and professional. Loved her curated playlist, information on wildlife and insider tips. The tour started and ended on time and I personally found it sufficient time to spend at each spot. There is a nice variety of things to see and do and something for everyone. Loved the little touches - a postcard, a Gippsland guide to dining etc. Quite a bit of wine is served on the tour :) which is quite fun. The communication about pick up, drop, stops etc. were really clear. There was space to keep bags if any and that was helpful too. If anything, the only thing perhaps for me was that I'm a big bodied person and I wrestled with the seat belt quite a bit and was quite uncomfortably perched on it. Given its a legal requirement, I had to have it on and anyone built like me or bigger would struggle a bit with that. Made the return journey quite strenuous. I'm unsure if anything can be done about that, but it is something to keep in mind.

TOUR CANCELLED - We’d love to say we actually got to take this tour, but we didn’t. We got a call an hour before the tour staying there was no tour guide nor a replacement for the one assigned who became ill. The company sent a text for another company we could call and arrange for a tour. After we contacted Viator, we tour operator then arranged with another company for us to take a tour with them to Phillip Island. It was a less expensive tour, and we had to ask for them to refund the difference. The tour had parts we did not care about, and excluded others we wanted- like no wine tour and no dinner. At least the tour operator arranged another tour, however substandard to what we paid for initially, which is why we are rating two stars. But to run a tourist company with no back up plan is ridiculous. And the fact that Viator took no responsibility makes it even worse.
