Fabulous 5* hotels at each destination - My sister and I (both in our 70s) had a fabulous time in Vietnam and Cambodia. We had 5* hotels throughout - Mai House in HCMC, Shinta Mani Angkhor and Bensley in Siem Reap, Hotel Royal, Hoi Ann, Azerai La Residence in Hue, La Siesta Hang Thung in Hanoi, and Dragon Legend cruise boat Halong Bay. Surprisingly one highlight of our holiday was the Vespa tour we had.  We were both terrified at first but we were in safe hands. Our tour guide, Long, was excellent. He introduced us to Vietnamese street food that was delicious. It was an evening to soak up the atmosphere of Ho Chi Minh City finished off with a cocktail in a Skybar with panoramic views of the city - it was a truly memorable evening. All the hotels far exceeded our expectations. If we were to give any advice to other travellers we would recommend they extend their trip to incorporate a few rest days at each location to enable them to enjoy the facilities at the hotels and to revive their energy. We were torn between not wanting to miss anything in the programme whilst at the same time feeling very weary.  We were grateful that our guides were proactive and amended our programme when necessary i.e. dawn at Ankhor Wat was scheduled for our first day in Cambodia but our flight to Siem Reap was later than planned so it was 10pm by the time we arrived at our hotel. Our guide, Rith, suggested we postpone Ankhor Wat to the day after which worked very well.  We think it would be useful to alert travellers to the fact that, particularly in Cambodia, US $ need to be pristine. We didn't know and some of the ones we got from British banks were rejected which caused us a few problems. Mr Ann at Global Travel and Tours Asia was super speedy and attentive to our every enquiry and requirements. We would unreservedly recommend using him and would have no hesitation in contacting him for future trips.

13 days Cambodia Vietnam Tour through Seni World Vietnam - I booked Cambodia Vietnam tour through Swati & Mie of Seni World. Our tour started from Seim Reap, Cambodia. We were given very good central hotels to stay. Our pick up and transfers were efficiently managed. Our sightseeing wre handled in good AC buses with efficient guides. On the whole we had an excellent tour Mie had created Whatsapp support group which provided phone nos of guide, drivers, etc. I thank Mie for the excellent tour.
