Turn right at old dump road, you'll quickly see a gravel parking area on the right.
Please park in a manner that allows all drivers to use the parking area as efficiently as possible.

A must in Moab, the vehicle was a beast! - We are from Texas and wanted to try something different. This was one of the highlights of our vacation. Mike our tour guide was funny, personable and very knowledgeable. The tour will definitely get you blood pumping but we never felt unsafe. His furry friend was also a great asset to the tour.

Moab Back Country Big Iron Tours with Mike was educational with a bit of comedy! - We highly recommend the morning 4 hour tour with Mike. He will pick you up from your hotel and take you to areas where you can see the 4,000 - 6,000 year old petroglyphs. He is a local that has a great deal of knowledge about the petroglyphs and does a fantastic job explaining what they mean. Ask him about the Ancient Aliens theories. He will bust them down and explain the reality of who made the glyphs and why some of the glyphs look so funky. Mike is a hoot, you will have a lot fun on his tour. We had a bonus along the route and he stopped to let us watch some crazy people base jump from a 1,000 foot cliff.

Awesome jeep tour - Mike was awesome. He made our tour a fantastic experience. We took awesome pictures and he was super knowledgeable about the area. Not to mention he is a veteran that has served our county. Can’t say enough good things about iron mountain tours and Mike

Houstonian’s Utah Road Trip’24 - Unforgettable experience for me and my family from Moab. Mike showed us how off-road is about and the truck capabilities over all rubicons and ATV’s small machines lol.

A fun couple of hours in the desert with a fun guide. - Didn't know what to expect but the tour was great. The big military '5-ton' truck, specially adapted for rock climbing, made its way over rock formations that you didn't think anything that size could handle. The tour operator, Mike, was funny and friendly and made it more enjoyable. It was a fun couple of hours and I would recommend it.

Best tour guide out there - Mike has the best job in the area. Haul around tourists, 4x4 on the trails and tell a few jokes. Best time ever. If you want to get all the ooooos and aaahhhhhhhs from the big rigs that Mike uses for the tour, then book your excursion with Big Iron Tours

Underwhelming - Best part of the tour was Brutus the dog and the dinosaur tracks. There wasn’t any commentary on where we were and what we were seeing.
