Fantastic trip - We’ve just returned from a very enjoyable trip. We were picked up and dropped back off from outside our hotel. The bus driver was very skilled and Benjamin, our guide, was very friendly and helpful and his knowledge was fantastic. Fortunately, after a windy few days, the cable car was open today and tickets were sorted for us as part of the price. Would definitely recommend using this company to visit Mount Teide.

Beautiful views and a wonderful island - Such a good tour, never been to the island before and our tour guide Thomas was very knowledgeable and told us so much about the island and the Teide, so friendly and loved my first experience I will definitely book again but maybe a longer tour when I come back to the island again. Such a beautiful place and I recommend this tour if you have never been to the island before or if you have never been to Teide before. Thank you so much for making my first trip to Tenerife a memorable one. 😊

Would highly recommend and will be using again! - I booked 3 Tenerife excursions through Viajes Teide, namely Teide National Park Half Day Tour with Hotel Pick up, Loro Parque, Siam Park. The communication was absoutely brilliant from Viajes Teide. They WhatsApp'd and emailed me all communication including tickets. The information was very clear. I also called their +34 Spanish number which was answered very quickly when I had an enquiry. The answered all my questions very well. Also there was one morning where we we're standing at the wrong pick up point and I WhatsApp'd Viajes Teide and they responded immediately and we walked down the road to the right collection point and it was very good communicaiton all together. I was highly recommend this firm and I will be using them again.

Value for money and enjoyed everything. - We were picked up outside our hotel Marylanza right on time. The coach was air conditioned. Our guide Christopher was friendly, funny and informative. We had 1hr 45 mins at the Teide National Park. We then had views of the eruption cloud over Palma and photo opportunities of some other volcanos on Tenerife.The shorted trip suited us, not too exhausting. But still great fun.

Good experience but allow plenty of time - Must do cable car to get the views. Coach pick ups took too long. We had half day and got picked up at 7 am and didnt get back till nearly 4pm. Most of this time out was on the coach

Good tour needed more time - I chose this tour as it was one of the few that actually allowed you to go up the cable cars rather than just a coach tour around the bottom. The only issue we had was that only having an hour off the coach and waiting 15/20 mins at each side of the cable cars we only really had 20 mins at the top which wasn't enough to do the walk along the top and we were in such a rush to get back to the coach there was no time to stop at the info centre/shop. we did have a stop in a tiny cafe place on the way up and another stop at a gift shop on the way down which i could have done without on a half day tour. Coach was lovely and driver was excellent at navigating the narrow winding roads! Tour guide was great at giving information in 3 languages

Good Day but Ended Poorly - The tour itself was great in terms of content but it lacked some finesse in its delivery. The pick up run took an eternity - collected at 7:40 am, joined main coach at 9:00 am and finally started tour about 9:30 am after further collections. No complaints about the trip itself - that met expectations fully. However at the interim stop on the way down we and 6 others were suddenly asked to leave the main coach and complete our return in a cramped 8 seater minibus that was normally used for cycle tours. The driver seemed happy to make an unscheduled detour into Las Americas at the whim of one passenger, and the drop off schedule was somewhat convoluted thereafter. When we were finally dropped 90 minutes after being taken off the main coach the driver refused to take the last passenger (a solo female) to her hotel and dropped her off with us. It seems Viajes Teide might benefit from more of a customer focus on how they manage their logistics. Overall a good tour spoiled by poor management. We would think twice about using this company again.

Avoid and rent a car if you can - The journey and the landscape are stunning. Worth visiting. However not with this tour. It should not have been advertised as an english tour. The guide (Benjamin) spent 70% of his time addressing the Spanish tourists, and the rest of his time was split between German and English. I don't remember being discriminated against in a tour before. We had to also suffer some painful and very loud music on the bus, unfortunately also accompanied by his singing. Lastly, we were unlucky with the location of our hotel and had to suffer 1.5 hours worth of pickups, each way (!) for what was a half hour journey to the destination. I would not recommend this tour to anyone, with or without children.

Not fit for purpose - Very short trip. More time spent in picking up and dropping people and only 30min given at top of the teide Park cable car stop which is just enough to join back the Long queue coming down. No pics attached as there’s no time given to see anything leave along taking beautiful pics

LACK OF INFORMATION REGARDING REFUND POLICY / CANCELLATION OF CABLE CAR / PREGNANCY POLICY - First , we love Tenerife , the hotel H10 Conquistedor & the people of Tenerife BUT... We booked with Tenerife Excursions 14/10/19 for six people for the Teide national park tour & including specifically the cable car ride. There was no signage or cancellation / limitation detail offerred at the booking - our daughter in law is 6 months very obviously pregnant. We arrived promptly at the bus stop & the bus arrived a few minutes late. We were advised that the cable car ride was cancelled due to the high winds on the mountain & we were given the choice of continuing with the tour only & seek a refund for the cable car upon our return. As we had already been on a similar tour two years ago we replied that we would seek a refund - the tour guide indicated that we would probably get a refund for the cable car but NOT for the tour as we had not advised the bus operator Viajes Teides 24 hours before taking trip! - how did we know that the cable car would be cancelled ?? We also found out that pregnant women would not be allowed on the cable car due to safety conderns. None of the above was indicated in signage or discussed during booking by the agent of Canarias.com - all the agent was interested in was getting commission for the 6 off tickets. Attending the offices of first Canarias.com & then Viajes Teide & after wasting 2 hours of our holiday we got a full refund for the cable car BUT only half a refund on the bus tour. Lessons to be learnt by the operators are that they need to have signage on wall about the above issues or advise customers of these issues. Our holiday (apart from the above) was very good - Tenerife is a great place & would be even better if the above was acted upon so that holiday makers are not put off by such issues.
