Highlights
  • Chapel of St. John (Ioannis) - This magnificent chapel of St. John, also known as Agios Ioannis, is perched atop a massive rock formation that gently rests on the sea. It’s truly love at first sight when you first glimpse the “Rock,” as I like to call it. At the very top, as you pass through the arched entrance, you can feel a sense of pride, having climbed all the way up and taken the same steps and passed through the same arch that some of Hollywood’s top actors have. Whether you chose to watch the movie before coming here, plan to see it afterward, or simply don’t care much about the famous Mamma Mia movie, one thing is certain: you now understand why this place was chosen!
  • Paralia Kastani - Kastani is one of the most beautiful beaches in Skopelos, featuring lovely crystal-clear waters and white sand, located 15 km west of Skopelos Town. It boasts a remarkable environment surrounded by pine trees that reach the edge of the shore. Its stunning landscape gained worldwide fame through the American film “Mamma Mia,” with most of the scenes shot here. Kastani gets busy in summer, but not as crowded as Elios or Klima. A sloping dirt road, just 500 meters from the bus route, will lead you to the beach.
  • Agnontas - Agnontas is the third port of Skopelos where ships and ferries dock when the winds prevent them from reaching the island’s other ports. It is a picturesque coastal settlement built around a beautiful area of pine forests. The pristine beaches with emerald waters and the impressive surroundings enchant every visitor. Many boats and private yachts moor at the port during the summer season. It is located 8 km south of Skopelos Town.

Amazing tour, worth every moment. Thank you, Dolphin of Skopelos - Perfect!!! Our tour was with Dolphin of Skopelos. The driver Dimitri did very well, the guide lady excellent and informative. Both were helpful and patient. The tour bus picked my family from apartment. Loved the mama mia and Greek music, enjoyed stories and history of the island. Enjoyed the climb and me and kids ringing the bell at the top. Nice stop at the Olive 🫒 processing, and enough time at the beach stops. Lovely views and scenery on the tour bus. Day well spent. Thank you, Dolphin of Skopelos..

Great way to see Mamma Mia film settings 😊 - Booked this trip for me and my Mamma Mia mad daughter, the collection/ pick up point was less than 5 mins walk away (we stayed at Hotel Dionyssos) 1st stop was at the Church of Agios Ioannis Kastri , it's about an hour coach ride from Skopelos and we got there purposely before a boat load of other tourists and a few locals turned up so very well timed as I imagine it gets very busy. The tour guide (Gerry ? Sorry if I got this wrong ) was a lovely lady with lots of interesting information about the film and it's stars. We had 3 other stops and arrived back to our drop off point about 6 hours later . We really enjoyed the trip and for less than £40 each thought it was worth the money 😊

Mama Mia tour. - Went on the tour as my wife wanted to see the locations from the film. An excellent tour and Nico was both informative and funny. The climb up to the Church was a highlight and definitely easier than the climb down. The views are spectacular and there’s plenty of picture opportunities. The rest of the tour didn’t disappoint as the beach was lovely and there was sun beds available if you looked. The food from the restaurant at Agnostas beach was lovely and the stuffed peppers and tomatoes is highly recommended.

Mamma mia not for me but my wife loved parts of it - Good Driver Denise tour guide knowledge of locations Climb upto the church challenging for us but worth it Olive factory interesting old and modern processes for msking the oil. Saw more of the island as did not hire a car Not so Good Lots of winding roads & steep elevations 2 shelving beeches not much sand Not enough time to swim and eat at Agnontas, only 1 hour. Constant Mamma Mia music on the bus repeat repeat repeat. Trippers were terrible tippers, one or two euros, driver and Denise deserved more. Over all OK it relieved the boredom of the town.

Mamma mia - Good trip but long winded...going to the Chapel was a good experience...as a surprise stop was to a olive museum a bit of a bore but I suppose money needs to be generated..then a the beach for a drink then finally to the fishing port for a.meal ....all in all 6 1/2 hrs in 37c I know you can't predict the weather but it could of been shorter
