- Kanneliya Forest Reserve - 7:30 You will be picked up by an air-conditioned vehicle and driven to Kanneliya.
8:15 Arrive at Kanneliya and begin your nature trail with the guide. The trail starts at the Kanneliya Conservation Centre and ascends to the Kabbale Mountain Peak, offering a panoramic view of the KDN complex. The trail then loops back down to the “Anagimale” waterfall and returns to the conservation centre.
Kanneliya rainforest spans 10,140 hectares and is recognized as one of the richest areas in terms of flora in South Asia. The streams usually flow vigorously through the jungle, creating beautiful cascades and scenery. However, be cautious of leeches! A panoramic view of the entire area can be enjoyed from the top of Kabbale hill.

Take a guided trekking tour to Kanneliya Forest Reserve, located in the Galle district. This is the largest of the Kanneliya-Dediyagala-Nakiyadeniya, forest complex. Kanneliya rain forest covers an extent of 10,140 hectares and identified as one of the richest areas in terms of flora in the whole of South Asia.
