Incredible Day at Udawalawe National Park - What an amazing day - being as close as you can get to wild elephants, having a riverside lunch below a canopy of monkeys and excellent guides ( Thakshila and Danika) and service throughout the day. This was definitely one ticked off the bucket list - thanks Tony & team!

Two great tours showing the best of Sri Lanka! - Our first trip was for two days and included a private jeep safari in the Udawalawe National Park followed by a train ride from Ella to Nuwara Eliya on the second day. Everything about it was superb. Our guide Roshan and our driver Sumith both worked really hard to create memorable experiences for us. Roshan’s passion and knowledge about his home country was truly inspiring and we learnt so much. We walked up to Little Adam’s Peak, rode a tuk tuk to the nine-arch bridge, toured the tea plantation and did so many different things, but the early morning safari and the train ride through the amazing scenery in the heart of Sri Lanka on the second day were undoubtedly highlights and we’ll remember them for a long time to come. Later in the week Roshan joined us again for the Madu River safari. Another great trip! The Buddhist temple and Cinnamon Island were really interesting and then we managed to squeeze in a visit to the Galbokka turtle hatchery. A fascinating experience – really impressed by their attitude and knowledge about the turtles and the work they do there. We are so glad we discovered Tony’s Tours and booked with them. The communication, attention to detail and professionalism are the best we’ve experienced… and a big thank you to Roshan and Sumith for everything…
