  • Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park - Visitors can explore this 800 ft stone structure, a former British military fort from the 17th and 18th centuries. It offers stunning views of the surrounding areas, including St. Eustatius, Saba, St. Martin, and Anguilla. As a UNESCO World Heritage site, the fortress is well-preserved, with museums, barracks, and artifacts available for viewing.
  • Timothy Hill - This spot provides a scenic view of the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea, along with a picturesque view of the sister island, Nevis. It is a part of the tour where visitors can also shop for souvenirs and gifts from local vendors.
  • Romney Manor - Visitors touring this area can explore a 400-year-old sugar plantation that is well-preserved. The site is part of the rainforest and offers free rum tasting of the original molasses rum. While walking around, one can observe medicinal plants and learn about the historical sugar production process.
  • Caribelle Batik at Romney Manor - Attached to Romney Manor is Caribelle Batik, where traditional Indonesian batik art has been practiced on the island for over 50 years. Visitors can watch demonstrations of the batik process after strolling through the lush botanical garden. There is also an opportunity to purchase batik items on display at the store.
  • Basseterre - Before visiting the main attractions, the tour includes a visit to the historic city of Basseterre, originally French and now British. The tour provides a narration of the island’s history, culture, parliamentary system, and more, highlighting landmarks such as Piccadilly Circus, Independence Square, the war memorial, historical churches, and evidence of rich African heritage. The tour then continues westward, offering further insights into the island.

Great experience! - We had a wonderful time on our tour with Tatem's Taxi and Tours. Pick up was easy. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared many details about the island. He customized our tour and fit in everything we asked to do despite the tight time frame. He even guided us through local attractions (fortress and manor). He took pictures for us and the price for the tour was unbeatable! Highly recommend.

Best tour guide on St Kitts - Tatum was an excellent tour guide! We wanted an overview of the island so we could decide if there were places we should go on our own later. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun! We told him what we thought we wanted to see (based on research before the trip) but put ourselves in his capable hands. He arrived at our hotel promptly with a smile, and his van was air conditioned and had a small cooler of water for guests. We hit the highlights and learned a lot, and laughed at a few of his jokes along the way. We all highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful tour and great service - We did the island tour and used many taxi services during the week. This is the second week that we go to St-Kitts and both weeks we used the services of Tatem's Taxi and Tours. The service is absolutely amazing, reliable, friendly and extremely knowlegeable about the sites and history. I fully recommend the taxi and tours services. Thanks to Tatem's, I am considering bringing even more of my family to the island and re doing the tours once again!

He was a Real Treat after a disappointment! - Mr Tatem is a true gentleman of St Kitts. He was chosen by my husband for standing quietly holding a small Taxi sign. We three had been disappointed by being unable to physically reach the departure spot for a planned excursion. We were tired and hot and weary of the hawkers calls and come ons. All we wanted was a simple drive around the island while learning about his home land. Mr Tatem was prepared with a portable step for a semi-disabled person to enter his van. There was air conditioning, comfortable seats, room for a rollator and the wheelchair. And once we got started, Toussaint provided thoughtful, thorough, and sometimes funny historical and current details about St Kitts and Nevis. He was a joy to hear, the time passed very easily and pleasantly. If you want an easy going, personal excursion at very reasonable cost, I highly recommend Toussaint Tatem, owner operator of Tatem’s Taxi and Tours.
