Highlights
  • 24 Triq San Geraldu - Join us for an unforgettable day tour starting at 10am and returning at 5pm. With Captain Kevin and his crew, we’ll showcase the beauty of this charming little island. Our journey begins at 10am with a touch of religious history as we pass by St. Paul’s Island, where he was shipwrecked. A statue in his honor now stands in the middle of this tiny island.
  • Mellieha - We’ll cruise past Malta’s largest beach, Mellieha Bay, and venture into Ahrax Cave for some fantastic photo opportunities. Before crossing the Comino South Channel, we’ll glide by the popular tourist spot, Coral Cove.
  • Comino - As we navigate past Ahrax Point, you’ll get a clear view of Comino Island, the smallest of the three islands at just 1.4 square miles. We’ll circle Comino, taking in its high cliffs and magical rock formations like the ‘Elephant’s Head.’
  • Blue Lagoon - The highlight of the tour, often called Paradise on Earth by travelers, is the stunning BLUE LAGOON on Comino Island. Enjoy our prime mooring spot and spend your time on the boat, away from the crowded beach. You can jump, swim, and slide into the crystal-clear turquoise waters. Relax on the upper sun deck or the spacious shaded main deck. If you get hungry, our onboard cafeteria offers reasonably priced snacks. While our boat may not be the newest, it has all the amenities you need for a day at sea. Use the boat as your base to freely explore Comino Island, and return for the bar, cafeteria, washrooms, or other facilities. With over 4 hours here, you’re sure to have an amazing time.
  • Crystal Lagoon - As we cruise the South Channel of Comino, we’ll enter the Crystal Lagoon, a favorite among divers for its deeper waters. This bay is also accessible by foot from the Blue Lagoon, where we’ll be moored for 4.5 hours. A short 8-minute walk will bring you here, where you can snorkel, swim, or even cliff jump if you’re feeling adventurous. Depending on weather conditions, this site may be visited either on the way to Comino or on the return trip to Malta.
  • St. Mary’s Tower - Built in 1618 to defend Comino Island, we’ll pass by the Santa Maria Tower, one of the few buildings on the island. This picturesque site is also known for its role as the Chateau D’If prison in the film “The Count of Monte Cristo.”
  • Hornblower Cruises Malta - We’ll return at 5pm.

Looking forward to another cruise. - We've been booking this cruise every year . It's awsome. This year although we returned a little earlier than previous years the standard with regards to cleanliness, service with a smile and organisation was even better. Well done! Serving complimentary pineapple at the end of the cruise was the cherry on the cake! Keep it up.

Fun Day Out On The Water - This was a fun day out on the water. I did arrive an hour early to snag a chair on the top deck but I could have arrived a mere 30 minutes early and gotten a chair as well. The drinks and snack on board were reasonably priced. The boat ride out to Comino island we stopped along the way and were shown a few caves and "elephant rock" - that was a great sight. We had one major stop for 3 hours and that was fun because the water is gorgeous. I rented the snorkel but was disappointed in its quality -- it was leaky no matter what I did and the area really doesn't have too many fish so it wasn't necessary. The speedboat was nice but if you've ever gone into a cave before via the water --this is the same so nothing really over the top amazing. For the price it was a great day. The slide was a hit for many people on the ship and other enjoyed jumping off the top deck.

Best of the best! - The staff is just amazing, the lovely couple...owner of the boat are one of a kind. The food and drinks has a reasonable price and everything was super delicious. The fact that my friend didn't find a parking spot after going around for 45minutes in Bugibba and the lady owner without thinking (2minutes before leaving),grabbed her key and ran to move her car for my friend, made out day super special and amazing. Without her it wouldn't have been the same. We thank you so so much and we are living in Malta,so we will soon be back on your boat. ❤️ 😍 💖

See above - Lovely family run boat. Excellent friendly staff. Food average for a boat trip, food reasonable, cocktails in a pineapple are cheap to purchase. Really enjoyed the day at the blue lagoon fabulous clear water. Unfortunately it was hard to get a deck chair due to lots of visitors. Definitely worth a visit to see the crystal clear waters and the slide of the boat. The captain of the vessel talked us through the area’s we passed and even got up very close to the caves. I would definitely recommend the HORNBLOWER SHIP for an enjoyable day out.

Great Trip - This is an excellent trip and well worth going. The captain, Kevin and his crew did an excellent job throughout a very enjoyable day. The speed boat trip around the Blue Lagoon with Ian was amazing. The services on the boat were very good, The visit to Gozo was outstanding especially the Citadel and the cathedral. This was the highlight of our first holiday to Malta and would recommend to all.🤗👍

Best holiday activity for me… - The Comino trip on the Hornblower is always the highlight of my holidays in Malta. A family owned and run business for three generations, that offer the best location, best company and warmest welcome. Food, drinks and ice creams are all available onboard for your pleasure. Highly recommended 👍

No to blue lagoon - The place and the water are dreamed up, the problem is that there is no space to be, except in the water. The bottom is sand and the "beach" sector is steep and sharp stones, there is no place to be located, as the number of restrooms for rent is very limited. In my experience I wouldn't come back.
