The best tour guide in Rio de Janeiro - . My husband and I had our first tour with Fabio in 2019 two wonderful days sightseeing in Rio de Janeiro .it was excellent. And this years decided to have Fabio again as our tour guide. Again another excellent time with Fabio. Fabio is an excellent tour guide very friendly, respectful and professional. We highly recommend him!!

Would be hard to beat - This was the first of three trips we made with Rio Cultural Secrets. The others were to Botanic Gardens and Tijuca National Park and Vidigal Favela. Fabio was an exceptional and knowledgeable guide and helpful. For example the day we were to visit Christ the Redeemer it was shrouded in cloud. So he suggested we swap the visit with the Botanic Gardens and combine Christ the Redeemer with The Tijuca National Park the following week. This worked really well and to top things off he managed to add at short notice an afternoon trip to Vidgal Favela following the morning trip to the forest. A totally wonderful experience all in

Private tour from Rio to Buzios - We had a wonderful time with Fabio. We had a 1 day private tour and he took us from Rio to Buzios. He is a fantastic and safe driver. He taught us many things about Rio and the surrounding regions. Along the way, he took us to many beautiful beaches and we went on an amazing boat tour. When I go back to Rio, I’ll contact Fabio for another tour. I’ll also recommend his tour to friends and family.

Good times - We spent 3 days with Fabio. My teen daughter was concerned about spending so much time with a guide, but now we are both fans of him. We did the usual Rio highlights, some more in the area and a day at Ilha Grande. He is high energy and very accommodating.

Amazng guide - Fabio Mendonca was excellent guide. We spent two full days with Fabio in Rio and we could not ask for more. Great Rio tour guide - My husband and I spent two fabulous days with Fabio. He was a wonderful guide (very knowledgeable and personable) and really allowed us to make the most of our time in Rio and visit all of the major sights. It was a great experience and so much better than if we had booked group tours. By engaging him for two days, we were able to make adjustments based on the weather, expected crowds, etc. I would highly recommend him for anyone coming to Rio.

Rio from a different angle - I’ve seen all major attractions and wanted something different. Fabio took me to places I didn’t know before. Places of cultural significance as well as places of natural beauty. I was very happy with this variety and had an excellent and interesting day.
