Additional Information

We’ll explore the remarkable landscapes of the Georgian Military Road on this journey, pausing to appreciate the Ananuri fortress that is recognized by UNESCO.

Georgia’s Northern Gateway, also referred to as Kazbegi Mountain, features a valley town renowned for the iconic hilltop profile of the Holly Sameba Church, and the impressive, snow-capped peak of Mt Kazbek watching over from the west. Although officially called Stepantsminda now, it is still widely known as Kazbegi and serves as an excellent starting point for some fantastic hikes.

All four seasons showcase their unique charm - the mountains are draped in thick snow during winter, while spring and summer bring lush greenery and a plethora of flowers. Autumn stuns with its vibrant forests. The experience is highly distinctive for those visiting Georgia for the first time.
