Perfect Evening at the Photo Museum in Stockholm - We had an amazing time at the photo museum in Stockholm! The extended hours are fantastic, and we definitely recommend visiting later in the evening, closer to closing (around 11pm). It was very quiet at that time, allowing us to fully enjoy the exhibits while sipping on cocktails. The exhibits likely change, but we were particularly impressed with the photography awards display on the second floor. It made for an absolutely wonderful date night. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and relaxing evening out!

Can't miss this museum! - With the dozens of museums in Stockholm this is a must see. The installations change so no guarantees on the selection but I can tell you that what I saw, changed my entire opinion about art. I now know what it means when 'they' say art moves you or makes you feel. That was certainly my experience. The space was large and well laid out. The staff was kind . And you get a discounted ticket if you make a reservation at the restaurant. A must see!

A must-see for anyone traveling to Stockholm - you're guaranteed to see something great! - Fotografiska is a must-see for anyone traveling to Stockholm. I’ve also been to the Fotografiska in NYC, but seeing it in its original home is a different experience in and of itself. Housed in a beautiful brick building overlooking the river, the location is a little tricky to get to but easy to reach on a bike or electric scooter. You can also get there by foot or Uber if you prefer. One of the great things about Fotografiska is that they rotate the exhibitions four times a year or so, so there is always something new to see. I especially enjoyed the Photo Synthesis exhibition on the ground floor as well as the incredibly powerful sustainability exhibition on the second floor. No matter when you go, you are guaranteed to see something great! They also have a bar/cafe outside in the summer, which is a nice spot to have a Fika or cocktail after you’ve toured the museum.

Visit to Fotographiska - Fascinating and stylish museum featuring thoughtful photographs from around the world. We also adored a stop for lunch in the café on the top floor.

Great Exhibition, NOT a museum - Fotografiska, an Exhibition In my opinion mislabeled as a Museum, it’s really an an exhibition! An amazing one nonetheless! Located near the ferry pier in a rather large elongated Brick Building, difficult to access unless you drive, (sufficient parking) or you know the local public transport system real well! Divided over several floors, it shows various artistic works of photographers mostly expanded beyond pure photography, it can only be labeled as amazingly inspiring! Another must visit for anyone interested in artistic Photography! (Not a museum which displays old cameras gears etc etc) But overall impressive and worth the special trip if this is your type of thing! Note by, the top floor has a great restaurant overlooking the waterway and giving a nice view of Stockholm’s city Center, plus a cool bar! #stockholm #sweden #thetourist #alifetimetrip #fotografiska

Worth a visit - It was a bit hard to get there due to the roadworks, although actually it was only a short walk from Gamla Stan. But I really liked the space and enjoyed the exhibitions on. I was going to try the cafe on the top floor but it wasn't obvious what kind of food they offered -- it seemed more of a restaurant. However, I've heard it's very good. There was also a place downstairs, but again I didn't stay to try. This is definitely something I'd recommend if you're visiting Stockholm.

Visually stimulating - I really enjoyed my visit here. Of course every visit will likely be different based on what exhibitions are currently on, and your area of interest. The current (June-24) Shepard Fairey was visually stimulating with a great soundtrack and the Pictet photographic prize very thought provoking. If you like art or culture I would very much recommend this

Great way to learn about Swedish culinary favorites! - Fritz was a terrific guide. He obviously enjoys his job and is very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Swedish cuisine and culture and tasted a wide variety of foods. Lots of walking but we had great weather, so it gave us time to work off some of the food we ate. All in all very enjoyable.

Good way to kill time, roof top bar pricey - We had some time to explore around Stockholm and one of the places what was recommended was this loved the museum. Plenty to see, after we went to the rooftop bar, I think it was pretty expensive as we had a glass of red each and a tiny platter and it come to about £35 between us, in my eyes I think this was pricey for what we had, that prove didn’t include admission, but on a plus not the views over the lake was amazing! I think it was like £20 each to get in too
