Additional Information
We start the tour from our office, situated right next to the nature reserve. From here, we walk into the heart of the reserve. Our experienced guides will lead you, sharing their knowledge and passion for the natural environment.
As you hike, you’ll discover hidden nature spots off the beaten track. We commonly see deer and other animals but there is no guarantee. Please note, that this activity is not a dedicated wildlife safari; any wildlife spotting is a pleasant bonus. Your guide will also share interesting information about Swedish culture and the area’s geology.
In the middle of the hike, we’ll treat you to a campfire-cooked lunch in a beautiful, secluded spot (during fire restrictions, we use gas stoves).
At the end of the hike, we conclude the tour with a short 15-minute bus ride back to town, giving you time to relax and reflect on the day’s adventures.

Immerse yourself in nature without leaving the city - What a perfect way to dive right into the local nature without having to travel more than 30 minutes! Our tour was led by Bobby, one of the company founders, and he expertly guided us through trails and off trails in the Nature reserve while sharing great info on our surroundings and Sweden in general. Our group included my boyfriend and I and two solo travelers, and Bobby made sure to tailor the hike to our experience level and interests. I would strongly recommend this to anyone staying in Stockholm looking to embrace the Swedish love of nature!

Nordic hiking adventure - Hiking by the lake was great. The lunch and campfire were really good. The place where went was very close so we didn’t have to spend a lot of time on the bus.

An awesome day in nature - I was a little nervous to be a solo female traveler going on this trip, but Leo was totally awesome and made me (and the other solo female traveler who joined us) feel completely comfortable. One of my favorite parts of the hike was visiting a flowing spring to fill up our water bottles with delicious fresh water and hearing Leo's explanations about Sweden's geology/nature. If you're going in the summer time, bring bug spray!

Beautiful forest 30 minutes from Stockholm! - We had limited time and wanted to see something more than the city sites. This was a great opportunity to get outside and into a lovely park with Francisco as a guide. The hiking was easy but we were glad of athletic shoes rather than street shoes. A hot lunch of Swedish vegetarian meatballs was a nice plus.

Nacka Nature Reserve. Amazing experience with beautiful scenery!
Hannes was very personable, fun, and knowledgeable. He provided our family interesting facts about wildlife and Swedish culture and delicious campfire meal! It was our pleasure to experience breathtaking views and conversation with Hannes and Stockholm Nature AB.

Private large school group nature tour - We are a school group - 11 x 10 year olds and 3 adults from England, and we visited at the end of April, as we had won a trip to learn about sustainability. Bobby and Jannes were our guides and were incredibly informative about Sweden, the forests and ask linking it to sustainability which was an added bonus. The nature hike was exactly how it was described and was incredible to experience in the person. The food was also delicious and very Swedish, so we felt we had the full Swedish experience. Thank you again for a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!

A great way to escape to the nature from Stockholm - Leo and Francisco were excellent hike leaders. Attentive, knowledgeable and fun. The hike was just a short bus ride away from Stockholm, which was a nice and easy way to see some of Sweden's nature while staying in the capital. Tasty frika and lunch of Swedish meatballs made on a fire out in the nature. All in all, great experience. Thanks guys!

Walk around a frozen lake - Very friendly and knowledgeable guide. A walk almost too short which made us want to come back to Sweden to discover other landscapes

Great trip - Loved this trip. Bobby was very knowledgeable about the local area. Was a good pace and had a few stops for snacks and lunch. Really worth doing and see outside of Stockholm when you visit
