Highlights
  • The Green Trails - We start off with a short introduction about the archipelago kayak day’s program. A 45 minute drive by air-conditioned minivan will take you away from the city and into the archipelago.

We start off with some sea kayaking instructions and safety precautions. Shortly after we’re out in the Baltic Sea! We’ll paddle through both small island groups and crossing open sea. The present birdlife is very rich, and swans, eagles and many other birds are seen on basically every trip. We’ll pick out our own island and enjoy restaurant prepared, organic lunch.

From bird colonies to ancient fortresses, there are many sights to visit along the way. Maybe we decide to enjoy some ‘fika’ on the way, roping all kayaks together.

Upon return we briefly conclude the day and your guide will bring you back to the meeting point safely.

A fantastic day of lasting memories. - Had a wonderful experience on the tour. Our guide, Stevie, was enthusiastic, informative and a very capable guide on the water and on land. After a 45 min journey, our group sailed around islands and bays for the whole day. Trip was interspersed with an opportunity to swim, a lovely lunch, Fika and a hike to a viewing point. Along the route Stevie pointed out wildlife and natural geology. I saw a mink! A fantastic day of lasting memories. Thank you.

Great day kayaking - Brilliant day of kayaking in a stunningly beautiful area. Jasper , the guide, was excellent. He is very knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife, the flora, and shared this knowledge with us in an easy to understand way. I struggled a little at times, and he was very supportive and helpful, making the whole day great fun. Good food, also! I recommend the trip to anybody.

Amazing views and experience - Amazing kayak tour! Stevie was the best - took us on an extra hike after we finished lunch to see some amazing views. I cannot recommend this tour enough! It’s a great way to see the archipelago and experience nature outside of the city. When someone in our group accidentally flipped their kayak, Stevie gave a swift rescue and we always felt safe.

Paddle, lunch, swim - perfect! - A perfect day! Nice-sized group, the water was gentle, the distance traveled was just right - good exercise but not exhausting, enjoyed the lunch stop and swim, beautiful scenery and bird-watching. A good option to balance a visit to the city. No prior experience required!

Recommended! - Very pleasant kayak tour in a beautiful landscape not far from Stockholm. Small group, so it’s easier to keep the group together and not lose too much time even if participants have different levels of experience kayaking.

Fun day excursion from downtown Stockholm - We had an extra day in Stockholm and decided to check out the Stockholm Archipelago. It was a great day and very laid back trip. The equipment was in good shape and easy to use. The paddling was easy for anyone in relatively good shape. It was just fun to paddle around the islands and see the quaint Swedish cabins. I had no idea before this that Sweden had so many islands nor how many Swedes own boats. I always pictured forest and Lapland before visiting Sweden. So, this tour gave me a better perspective of what southern Sweden is really like. It was beautiful and fun.

Incredible trip. - Amazing experience and a really good way of seeing the archipelago and feeling close to nature. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Kristina and Leith were great guides. Their enthusiasm for paddling was infectious and my paddling improved immensely by the end of the trip. I would definitely recommend this trip for anyone wanting to spend time discovering the archipelago in a unique way.

Would not recommend at all - Tour guide is a nice Swede but we had 8 people for one guide. We had to carry heavy kayaks to and from water. There was no help. Guide was chef, driver and tour guide. Place was a mess and kayak ritter was broken. Seemed like his first time leading tour. Literally almost got us lost in deep forest when path was a few meters away. For $180USD each it was a complete rip off. They water was nice.
