Great first activity in Stockholm - Very nice introduction to Stockholm, great to get your bearings a bit. Lovely boat with blankets and reindeer hides provided on the outside deck to keep off the worst of the chill but also plenty of space, warmth, coffee (no decaf) and fika buns available inside with not much compromise of the view. Ideal. Excellent commentary throughout. Pushing through the frozen seawater was a novel experience!

Excellent Boat Tour - Great tour to get your bearings in Stockholm. Excellent commentary in English, lots of information & facts, very interesting & useful for first time visitors. A lovely way to spend 75 minutes. We sat outside on the top deck, reindeer skins to sit on & blankets to keep you warm. Seating inside on the lower deck, with a small bar selling hot & cold drinks & snacks.

Superb cruise! - Very pleasant time spent on Gustavsberg VII in the company of a dynamic guide with a lot of humor. In the middle of winter and with the sounds of the icebreaker, the views are magnificent and unmissable. A refreshment area offers snacks and drinks at a very reasonable cost, delicious tomato soup. There are very few excursions available in winter, so don't hesitate to book this one, sailing on the ice while the temperature outside was close to -16 was magical!

Nice way to see more of Stockholm - We were only in town for a few days, so the 75 minute tour was perfect for us. There’s a commentary of the sights you pass by, and it’s great to see a lot of the outer city areas.

Enjoyable cruise - We thoroughly enjoyed our 75 minute boat tour. The boat was a wooden boat from 1911 which was atmospheric. Our guide was knowledgeable and witty and there was a decent cafe selling hot, cold and alcoholic drinks plus snacks for reasonable prices. A great way to see this beautiful city.

Brilliant boat tour - Brilliant tour. Helped us get our bearings in the city overall and learnt a lot. Åsa was a fantastic tour guide. So much information and equally entertaining! As cold as it was on top of the boat, the blankets were great and there was loads of space when we eventually wimped out and went inside for a cup of glögg. Highly recommend

Well worth doing ... - Really enjoyed this tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the city and surroundings. If you are on a short break, this is a great way to see a lot in a short period of time.

Beautiful scenery - We went on the Julbord dining cruise in December. The scenery was wonderful and made even better by the sunset around us. The food was good, although a little difficult for a vegetarian, the meat and fish eaters in the family did very well. Dessert was incredible! There are extra charges on drinks - we were charged for coffee, although you would have assumed it was complimentary by the way it was offered. Other drinks were ordered from a menu so the charging on those was very clear.

Not worth the money - Most attractions listed in the promotional material were closed on the day we purchased due to the seasonal shutdown. Some attractions were not on the bus route and needed additional transportation. Only 9 stops on the hop on hop off bus. When we turned in our vouchers for tickets, they told us none of the boat options were running that day. However, when we got off the last bus stop we saw the canal tour running and got tickets. The canal boat tour ended up being the highlight of our day.

Too many tickets are sold compared to the space inside on the winter tour - When it comes to the winter tour, where the temperature outside is at freezing point and below, then no more tickets must be sold than there is room for inside!!!! On our departure, there were too many people to be able to sit inside, so we had to sit outside or stand up in a hallway in front of the toilet... So I would in no way recommend others to take that trip again if you are not prepared to sit outside for the whole trip and take the cold and wind in stride.
