Additional Information

Embark on a day-long voyage of discovery across Snaefellsnes Peninsula, the part of Iceland that sparked Jules Vernes’s imagination for his renowned novel “Journey to the Center of the Earth”.

Experience an extraordinary journey where you will have the chance to marvel at the 4,000-year-old Berserkjahraun lava field while gaining insight from your experienced guide. Stand in awe at one of Iceland’s most photographed locations, the Kirkjufell mountain and its waterfall, both of which feature in the popular TV series Game of Thrones.

Enjoy the thrill of climbing to the summit of an ancient volcanic crater to obtain a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding region and the glacier. We will also visit Djupalonssandur, a splendid black sand beach, and Arnarstapi, a charming and historical fishing village. Loved the underlooked parts of Iceland - This underlooked part of Iceland was my wife's favorite from the beautiful coastline vistas to the seals.

A well-organized excursion with amazing scenery and an awesome tour guide - I did four different excursions on my trip to Iceland, and this was my favorite. The excursion included a good variety of diverse destinations, the scenery in the area was stunning, and the entire trip was well-organized. Special thanks go to the excellent tour guide, Evo, whose professionalism, great attitude, and charming personality made the day unforgettable :)

AJ is a great tour guide - We covered a lot of ground but still had enough time for food and bathroom breaks. It's pretty intense for one day but we like it and you always have the option of staying in the car if you are tired. AJ provided a lot of knowledge and history/facts about Iceland. We enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend!

Great tour - Great tour experience! I would recommend. My guide tour Christo was knowledgable and friendly - he even gave us a 15 minute summary of an old Islandic tale (Egils saga!) on the way to the national park. Climbing to top of the crater is literally breath-taking on a sunny day - and perfect for photos!
