Good kayaking adventure - Great kayaking trip around bird sanctuary island and working harbor. Sit in kayaks and dry suits provided kept us warm and dry. Kristin owner was knowledgeable and very helpful. Would recommend

Excellent - We visited on the last day of the season in September, so there was only the two of us sharing a tandem kayak. We had a great time with our guide Kristján who was awesome incredibly knowledgable about the local history and wildlife. It made it a lot more interesting. Sadly the wind meant we couldn’t venture out particularly far but it was cool enough getting to paddle out to the small islands and then around the small port. The shipwreck was a particular highlight, as was the the wildlife. We got to see a few different types of birds as well as some starfish, jellyfish, and even a seal. We were given dry suits which we just wore over our clothes so didn’t have to worry about keeping warm or dry too much. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Had a great time - just do it! - Great tour! It was really nice to get out on the water to see Iceland from a different perspective. Most of our trip was on land so just enjoying the sea was a really nice change for a couple hours. It was reallyyyyyyyy windy the day we were there - but once we got on the water it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be at all. Defiantly ask for a 2 person kayak if its super windy. The guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the birds as well! Would do it again for sure!

A very enjoyable experience - My husband and I took this sea kayaking tour in July. The guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about not just kayaking but the birds, vegetation and history of the area. The equipment was all adequate, the dry suits kept us warm and dry and the kayaks were well maintained.

Beautiful, easy, tranquil row in spectacular scenery - Very beautiful and tranquil row around a small island in front of Stykkisholmur. Nice guide, the company is small, so perfect if you want to avoid the tourist ‘masses’ for two hours. No motorboats, just nature. We saw plenty of birds, and even two whales. Kayaks are for one or two persons, it’s an easy trip. Nice to combine with a drive around Snaefells peninsula, had a perfect day!

Beautiful harbor and lovely tour - Lucas was a great and relaxed tour guide. We lucked out and had beautiful weather for our trip! The company was very gracious about a refund for our friend who was not able to participate due to safety reasons. Although the description here does not list a weight limit, be aware that there is a size limit with sea kayaks, as you must fit through the hole comfortably. I would say a hip width no bigger than 52 in. would be fine.

Amazing!! - Everything about the tour was exceptional. Our guide was knowledgeable, kind, and added made it a fun experience. We had some inexperienced folks on our tour and he made sure to guide them through everything before we got on the water. The best part was seeing puffins and dolphins in the wild.

Experience not to be missed! - We ended up being the only two people on the tour and it was a great experience! Our guide was fun to talk to and we learned a lot from him! Would definitely do it again!

Best Tour on the West Side - Super cool kayak tour! One of my favorite things I’ve done in Iceland. There’s a shipwreck the tour brings you right up to - great for pictures to brag about your trip. Highly recommend!
