Highlight of my Bali stay! - Taking the vintage VW Tour with Toke was a highlight of my stay in Bali. Not only did he personalize the tour and make sure we got to see all the things we were interested in, he is also simply a great and fun person to be around. From beautiful waterfalls to temples and coffee plantations, we thoroughly enjoyed our day with Toke. He‘s incredibly knowledgeable and happy to share stories and answer questions about anything. Also, he is extremely reliable and very quick to respond when you get in touch with him. So if you‘re looking to get to know the real Bali from a local, Toke is the perfect choice!

Amazing Vintage VW day tour - This was hands down the best day trip we had in Bali. We had so much fun touring around in the convertible VW vehicles. We had 2 vehicles, one for my adult children and one for my husband and I . Our sons had a great time in their vehicle listen to music and taking in the sights. You could comfortably fit 2 adults and 2 small children in one car if you chose to. Our drivers were so personable and customized our itinerary based on our interests. We visited the rice terrace, coffee plantation, batik studio, wood carving shop, water fall and temple and had an amazing lunch. This tour is great value for the $$. Things to keep in mind, bring sunscreen, a hat, towels and cash if you like to shop. Special shout out to our drivers they made our day 😊

Fantastic! Adventure, beautiful and kindness are all around! - Made was the kindest, most patient, tour guide, local expert and extraordinaire of planning just what we wanted to experience! He seemed to be friends with everyone we met. His local knowledge, expert driving skills and special places he took us were off the beaten path and just beautiful. He masterly blended the “must do and see” spots with our specific wishes and adventures! I was one of 4 women and we always felt well taken care of and listened to throughout our time in Bali! Not easy for one man to listen to 4 women when driving 😊. The island is filled with beauty and their people reflect this both inside and out! Highly recommended - We had the most wonderful time with Made. You can tell how much he loves Balinese culture and sharing it with others. We loved exploring Ubud with him. He’s also become best friends with our 18month old son taken such great care of him. It was the most amazing day ever!

Experience of a lifetime! - Stop looking and book this!! If we could give this tour 100 stars, we would. The time we spent with Made was the absolute highlight of our honeymoon and trip. He took us all over the Ubud area in a super sweet old vintage VW convertible. We saw a traditional Balinese dance, ate at a great local restaurant, saw the rice fields, climbed a waterfall, visited a water temple, saw local people doing their crafts (woodwork, jewelry), tasted delicious coffee at a plantation, and learned a ton about Balinese culture. Made was a great teacher, super fun to be around, and very flexible and easygoing. He also takes amazing photos and documents your entire experience. We had such a special day that we booked a second experience for a custom tour and just asked Made what else we should do. It was phenomenal. He even took us to the airport and shared a special dinner spot with us on the way. We not only left Bali with amazing memories, respect and appreciation for the Balinese culture and people, and full bellies…but also a friend. We are forever changed, in the best way, and cannot recommend Made and Toke Toke Bali enough.

If you do one thing in Bali do this!! - Honestly it’s an amazing tour and Made is the best guide. And the vintage car was the cherry on top. Our route was off the usual tourist trail and a much more authentic experience. We left with a great understanding of Bali and the culture here. Made was so flexible in regards our itinerary and took some amazing photos for us. We also did a purification which is something I’ll never forget. Don’t look elsewhere this is the tour to do!

So worth it!! - Let me tell you about Made from Toke Toke Tours and our Bali adventure! If you're looking for a once in a lifetime experience in Bali, look no further. What started as a 'let's-just-see-how-this-goes' car tour quickly turned into THE highlight of our trip. We loved the car tour so much we booked Made for several more days! He is prompt, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and has electric energy throughout the entire tour. (Also btw he’s kinda a local celebrity; everyone will wave and say hi to you & Made while you drive around!! 😆) He helps you avoid all the tourist traps so you can see the real Bali and he has a real passion when it comes to sharing cultural knowledge that took the tour to the next level. You will see the picturesque rice fields, serene water temples, have ample opportunities for photo stops (he sets up the perfect shot & will happily take the photos), enjoy local & authentic restaurants, and have the ability to customize your itinerary to ensure you see everything on your bucket list. I tell all of friends to take this tour and I will definitely be taking another tour next time I’m in Bali. He contacted us and insisted on driving it half way across the island to ensure we would have it. Most tour drivers would have just thrown it out, but he knew that was a special memory for us and made sure we got it!!
