It was really fun! - Our guide, Catherine, was a friendly veteran guide with 25 years of experience, and was very attentive to each and every participant. Along the way, we received information about a grizzly bear sighting, and she responded flexibly, including changing the route, making it a very meaningful experience.

Amazing guided hike - This was an easy and enjoyable hike. Our guide was Sarah and she was amazing! She was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and the surroundings and history of the place. Thank you Sarah for storing my jacket in your locker so I wouldn't have to shlep it on the hike! It was much appreciated! And thanks for an amazing morning!

Spectacular views - We had a fabulous hike (11km but can be shortened) with our guide Pablo who made it both fun and fascinating. In addition to his great guiding skills and warm and friendly personality, Pablo was so knowledgeable about the Rockies, and even threw in some geology and glaciology along with identifying flora and fauna. The wildflowers were beautiful, the lakes stunning and the views everywhere were simply spectacular! We did the slightly harder version, walking up from the gondola (instead of the chairlift) and around both loops, and loved every minute. If we ever come back to Canada we’ll be back to White Mountain Adventures for sure! Muy fantastico, Pablito!!!

An amazing hike - A beautiful hike with lots of wild flowers and amazing views although quite a bit of smoke. Leah our guide found the best spot for lunch and was very aware of everyone’s needs and informative with regards to all the trees and flowers along the way. It was an easy hike even though we did 450 m elevation along the 12 km. highly recommendable

Amazing, although more challenging than expected, which was good. - We were really looking forward to this hike, after seeing the beautiful pictures on Tripadvisor & the internet. We weren’t disappointed, as like every other highlight in Banff / Jasper, the views were spectacular & required no filter on the photos. Our guide Marie, was knowledgeable & good humoured, putting those of us in the group with trepidation about bears totally at ease, even making our calls to make the bears aware of our presence, a fun part of the journey. Marie’s experience with the area & the weather also meant that we turned back in time to miss out on a thunderstorm, which would have not only meant we’d have been exposed to the elements, but also have been stuck when the gondola down ceased while the storm passed. Merci beaucoup Marie!

Amazing views with amazing guide - My wife and I visited Banff National Park for the first time and decided to go on a guided hike. When our guide picked us up we found out that we were the only two people on the hike that day! Our guide Kristi was fantastic! She catered the hike to the two of us. She explained a lot about the park and the areas that we hiked in. She was fun and entertaining as well. The day could not have gone any better. Kristi is quite simply the best!

Great day, beautiful hike - This was interesting in that it starts with a very long gondola ride & ski lift ride to get to the starting point. Was beautiful, with mountain and lake views. It was so peaceful, standing at the edge of the very still lakes with the sky reflected in them. There were a few places where the incline was a bit steep, but not for long. I do consider this to be more of a walk as opposed to a hike. Our guide, Storm, was very pleasant and knowledgeable and never rushed us at all. I would do another hiking tour with White Mountain Adventures!

Beautiful mountain views - Chris our guide went out of his way to make our experience perfect. We hiked thru meadows, saw fantastic mountain vistas and lake views. The hike was easy enough for us novices. It was the highlight of our visit to Banff

Exquisite views but NOT an EASY hike - be aware of false advertising - While Sunshine Meadows is vast and has exquisite and beautiful lakes, flowers, and scenery, this is not an easy 5+hour hike! The gondola ride up to 7,000+ ft elevation is one of the few easy things. Some of the inclines were steep and challenging which makes this more a moderate hike, than an easy one. The guide tried to accommodate 3 people with limitations without impacting the others in the group. Several hikers stated they did not think it was a easy hike, in their experience. The question is why doesn’t the operator disclose the true difficulty? When I called the operator after the hike, was told “well, this is considered easy in the Canadian Rockies.” No apology. No refund. Hiker be aware! Do not support this operator! There are lots of other operators in the Banff area—use them!
