- Go Ride A Wave Surfers Paradise - We meet at our shop in Cavill Avenue next to Hungry Jacks in the heart of Surfers Paradise 15 minutes before the lesson begins. We provide a long sleeved rash/sun shirt and select the correct size soft beginner surf board and walk to the beach. We begin with a safety talk and some basic instruction and catch our first few waves in waist deep water. Then we return to the beach for more detailed instruction about how to stand up on your surf board. We spend the rest of the lesson in the water with the instructor assisting everyone to stand up on their surf board.

Learn to surf at Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast in Queensland, one of Australia’s most iconic surf destinations. With its warm waters and golden beach that streches for 1.9 miles (3 km), Surfers Paradise is the place to learn to surf. You’ll learn to surf in waist deep water with fully qualified surf instructors who are also surf life savers. Soft beginner surf board and rash vests or wetsuit are included.

Awesome, would surf again:) - As in my regular relationship life, i love to do everything solo. Hard to find a partner that's worthy. If that's your case too, please join these lessons. Not only will you learn to surf amazingly, you might even get a shot with the surfer. I'll let you guess😘

must do in surfers paradise! - went on the surf lesson with jack! he was brilliant at explaining and critiquing our form to help us get it just right! we were a small group of just 5 so it allowed plenty of 1-1 time with the instructor. great experience, would definitely recommend!

Surfing beginners - He was a great trainer. I think his name was Jack. It was a lot of fun and the technique was explained very well. There was also a lot of support in the water. Very motivated. Definitely highly recommended.

Great instructors, amazing pictures! - My husband and I had an amazing experience for our beginner surf lesson. Neither one of us had ever surfed before. Our instructors, Trey and Jack, were so thorough, and extremely patient. The photos taken by Jenna were exceptional, and well worth the value. We ended up with almost 150 pictures that one or both of us were in. This experience was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Australia. I would recommend this surf shop to anyone without hesitation!

Cool things I learned at Surfers Paridise at Gold Coast. - The surfing was great, I've got tought how to ride green waves, how to turn my surfboard. The waves were great too and it was fun and easy. Alex 9 y.o.

Great couple of hours - We were lucky enough to have Thomas as our instructor & had a great couple of hours. Despite the odds & being one of the most uncoordinated humans on earth I actually got up a few times & rode onto shore.

Best surf experience ! - Staff were very friendly and professional but also extremely personable. Best surfing experience of my life. Loved every minute and instructor was very helpful and funny. Highly recommend Go Ride a Wave. You won’t regret it!

First surfing in Australia! - It was located in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, so it was perfect to have something to eat nearby. But I think it was even more so on Anzac Day, but it was too dangerous because there were so many people. Also, there is no separate shower room, so you have to wash off the salt outside and change clothes. But surfing itself is so much fun!!
