  • Wat Mahathat - 15:30: (30 minutes) Wat Mahathat, built in the 13th century, is one of Ayutthaya’s oldest and most significant temples, housing the Buddha’s holy relic.
  • Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon - 16:15: (30 minutes) Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, or the “Great Monastery of Auspicious Victory,” features a high prang (tower) and was built in the late 14th century during King U Thong’s reign. It remains an active monastery with resident monks. The large chedi and Reclining Buddha statue wrapped in yellow cloth are notable sights. Despite damage from the 1767 invasion, it remains a must-visit.
  • Wat Chaiwatthanaram - 16:45: Wat Chaiwatthanaram is one of Ayutthaya’s most iconic and well-preserved temples, known for its Khmer-style architecture and scenic riverside location. (We’ll return to see the temple illuminated at night.)

Great trip - Our guide was very knowledgeable (Maggie) and very considerate. She was in touch with me before the tour and made sure everything went smoothly. The tour itself was enjoyable and interesting. The Budda face in the trees was great. We enjoyed this outing very much. Recommended!

Fantastic 7 Hour excursion to Ayutthaya! - We had a great trip to Ayutthaya! Our tour met at the Novotel and we left on time. We had ample time to explore the astounding wats in Ayutthaya. We ended with a lovely boat ride with a traditional Thai dance (with optional dinner for extra charge) and saw astounding temples and mosques along the river. Even a rainstorm didn’t dampen our evening and helped us cool down after a hot day. Highly recommend!

A perfect little half day tour to Ayutthaya - Great, compact, comprehensive half day tour. Would certainly give it a go if you want a quick trip to Ayutthaya for the main sites and a short ride along the river in a nice boat. We had an injured party on our tour (rolled ankle) and the tour staff were very attentive to their needs. It was nice to see their extended duty of care from Holly, Johnny and the team.

Ayutthaya Sunset Tour with Holly! - Our Ayutthaya Sunset Tour was an incredible experience! Holly, our guide, was not only friendly and engaging but also deeply knowledgeable about Thai culture and the histories of the temples. She made learning enjoyable by teaching us how to wai and sharing captivating stories about each site. The tour was perfectly paced, allowing us to fully absorb the beauty and rich history of Ayutthaya's temples. I highly recommend this enriching experience to anyone visiting Thailand!

Absolutely recommend - This is a great tour. Jom was a lovely guide, giving information but also space to wander at your own pace. The food on the boat cruise was simple and tasty and the local dancing was impressive. Thank you for a lovely trip.

Worth the money - As reported by others, we didn’t pay for dinner. The soda we bought in the boat was double typical cost. We were asked to tip the entertainer for her brief performance. None of these detracted from the trip. It’s fun and well worth the money. Johnny was a great guide and patient. He gave great directions for everyone to know what to expect. Most of the time was spent with the group but there were a few minutes to explore on your own at each site. There is nothing to regret about this trip.

Worth it - Loved the temples, loved the convenience, and a kind tour guide. Thought I had seen all there was to see in Bangkok but these temples are special.

Ayutthaya Thailand - Pleasant experience. It was nice learning about the history and visiting the temples. It would have been nice if the guide offered to take photos.

Bad experience - The schedule of the trip was not respected. We saw 3 temples in a rush and the only answer to our questions on why we were not seeing what it was I the schedule was: if you have complaints you have to address them to the Company. We got to the boat and we had to wait for a group despite the fact that we had no time to visit the temples. It was a failure. A long way for almost nothing. The guide was nice but it was apparently the first time working for this Company and quite lost. Take another tour!
