Great trip to get out of the city - Great tour with our guide, Nina! Travelled with my adult son. We were interested in the history of the railway and Nina did a nice job explaining the history and pointing out things along the way. She made sure we had a good seat on the train and offered waters and some great fruit along the way. The end of the train journey was our favorite, such a quiet and peaceful area of Thailand. Nice restaurant for lunch overlooking the river. Thanks for a great trip!

2 Aussies in Thailand - This was a great tour made outstanding by incomparable knowledge of our tour guide Rach. Everything aspect of the tour was excellent. Although it is a long bus ride it is well worth doing & should be on your bucket list. It is one of the best tours we have done in any country. Kudos also to the driver who has a very hard job with the chaos of Bangkok traffic.

Noble and beautiful place. - Look at the contents of the tombs carved from loved ones in the cemetery of allied prisoners who suffered from being captured during the war. And their troubled lives, and their lives, and the current railroad, which is made up of effort, are delayed. Ironically, we were able to have a delicious meal by the most beautiful railroad in the middle of the death railroad, looking at picturesque scenery. I want you to look around and remember the double barbarism of the Japanese.

A very worthwhile tour. - A great WWII history lesson. One gets to see some of the remnants of the so called "Death Train" where thousands of POW's died building the 400 km of rail line. Looks a lot different than the 1957 movie "The Bridge on the River Kwai". The cemetery contains 6000 graves, mostly Australian soldiers.

Highlight of my trip - Amazing trip to the war cemetery, bridge and train ride to the caves and great buffet lunch. Highly recommend requesting RACH as your tour guide, he was extremely helpful to not just me but other people. Pick up on time and dropped back to the hotel after the driver expertly navigated Bangkoks chaotic traffic 😂

Step back in time - An informative and moving experience. Seeing where and how the railway was built really bought home what life was like for the POWs. A small group so we had plenty of time at each attraction. Our guide Oom explained well how the day was set out. I enjoyed being on the train and would have liked more time or even a trip back on it, as it was wonderful travelling through the fields and countryside rather than the busy roads. Great for history buffs but also those wanting a cultural side to their Thai holiday.
