Once-in-a-lifetime experience - We went on a tour with a German couple and our tourguide Kári. Unbelievable experience. Kári answered to all our questions and told us some more about the history of the glacier, how the formation of the glacier changed these last years and showed us some unique spots. Would definetly recommend!

Spellbinding - The card I was given at the end to leave feedback here says 'was your guide amazing?'. Well, as a matter of fact, yes, she was! I am sure all the guides are great, but felt we really lucked out with Emilia on our tour. She was great: professional, kind, patient, funny, instructive, firm when needed (in a big sister kind of way!), informative and friendly. None of us wanted to leave at the end of the tour. She became like part of the family. We did the 3.5 hour glacier trip but were probably out there longer, as we were only 6 in our group and were relatively strong as a unit, so Emilia took us a bit longer and further, which was great. No complaints there at all. The scenery was amazing and the glacier itself was breathtakingly awesome. Very hard to describe the feeling of being on something so fundamental and imposing. It made you feel quite small and insignificant - but in a good way. A genuine once in a lifetime experience. To do it on such a beautiful and surprisingly warm day was a bonus. To be guided by Emilia was an absolute treat. To be there at all was an honour. Thank you

Blue Ice Experience - During our recent trip to Iceland (early May), my husband and I did a Glacier Hike (Blue Ice Experience) with Icelandic Mountain Guides – it was a great experience! Our guide Kari was very professional, informative and –above all – helped us safely visit this amazing glacier. He managed our group’s variable ability levels very well so that everyone had a good hike. I was the least comfortable on the ice and received some extra coaching that allowed me to continue on with the group–that meant alot. It was reassuring that Kari is highly certified for hard ice safety procedures, which is a feature of IMG but perhaps not all tour companies. We all wore full safety gear (inc helmets) and he carried ropes, etc. Not only did we experience an epically beautiful place, we learned alot about glaciers, Iceland landscapes, and learned a little about what it takes to be a professional glacier mountain guide. 5 Stars - do the ice cave tour! - Mark did an awesome job with our group out to the ice cave! He kept it fun and informative, stopping at interesting areas and places with great views!

Amazing experience - Spent an incredible afternoon on Europe's largest glacier! Our guide (Kari) was not only kind but also ensured everyone felt comfortable and engaged. Kari’s language skills were amazing; besides English, he spoke many other languages, including Dutch! #GlacierAdventures❄️
