Step inside and explore beyond the magnificent sails to hear the stories behind Danish architect Jørn Utzon’s remarkable design. On this one-hour guided tour you’ll discover the intricate workings of a living, breathing icon.

After the tour enjoy a meal at one of our dining venues. Either Opera Bar or House Canteen, both located besides the famous sails and with some of the best views in Sydney including your choice of main meal from a selection and a drink: wine, beer, or soft drink.

Enjoy your main meal and drink at either House Canteen or Opera Bar between 1130am - 6pm, just redeem your ticket stub at the bar. Infant tickets do not include meals.

Experience a full day at the Sydney Opera House by indulging in a 60-minute guided tour topped with a phenomenal meal gazing at the Harbour, either at the latest House Canteen or the Opera Bar.

The Sydney Opera House is one of the world’s most renowned structures and this is your opportunity to witness firsthand the majestic sails, explore the dynamic performance areas and appreciate the incredible stories that exist.

Following the tour, savour an exceptional view of Sydney Harbour whilst enjoying a lunch specially curated for Tours and Dining.

Upon your arrival for the tour at the Welcome Centre, located on the lower concourse, you will be provided a ticket stub. This ticket is to be exchanged at your preferred dining location, either at the Opera Bar or House Canteen, from 11.30am - 6pm to claim your main course from a selection, and your beverage of choice (wine, beer, soft). However, please note that children’s tickets do not include a meal or drink.

The 1 hour tour includes 300 stairs/low impact
Check in for your tour 15 minutes prior to tour departure at the Welcome Centre located on the lower concourse level. You will receive a ticket to redeem the main meal and beverage at Opera Bar or House Canteen after your tour.

Language Tour Options: German, French, Spanish and Mandarin Tour & Dine options are operated in language, not in English.

Great behind the scenes tour - The guided tour of the Sydney opera house was a great way to get a behind the scenes look at the architecture and design of this iconic landmark. The times of the guided tours were flexible with the meal. We went on the 9:00am tour and were able to then visit some other areas of the city before heading back to the Opera Bar later in the day for a late lunch/early dinner.

Awe Inspiring - This handicapped accessible tour was wonderful. The elevators need to be a little bigger for mobility scooters. Our guide (Nic) was fantastic. He gave us lots of great facts and made the tour very special.

A Tour Not to Miss - Visiting the Sydney Opera House was a dream come true for me; and I was not disappointed. Even though the tour was only about an hour long, a lot of information was packed into it. For me, it was simply a tour of “awe”. Being able to sit inside several of the chambers, the short lecture about the design, the architect and the architecture made me feel like a student hungry for the knowledge of this place. After the tour a nice bonus was your selection of meals from 2 different cafes on site was included in the tour package. It was nice variety and ample food servings and a drink. Thank you to our guide Sheila whose love for the place was definitely a plus.

A great opera house tour - Emily( who was excellent) was our tour guide. The opera house is beautiful and it was interesting to hear about the architectural history as well! She knew it all and presented it well! The lunch at the opera bar was also very good( fish and chips) . Eating out on the harbor walk was very pleasant as well.

Fun overall tour at the opera house - This was a fun little tour of the Opera House. We learned a lot with our knowledgeable tour guide. We really enjoyed the food and music afterwards at the Opera cafe. Highly recommend for anyone who is interested in more about the Sydney opera house.

Opera house tour - The history of how the opera house was built was so interesting. I never knew there was a contest of submissions from architects all around the world who was involved in getting it designed The tour guide micheal was really informative and he told the story of the architects and engineeds involved. He was really good

Good experience - Good experience, gets to know a bit more of the opera house. But personally, feel tour is a bit too rush, many steps to climb (more than 100 up n down). Should stay awhile longer on photographing views instead of rushing. Guide mentioned that can come back to same location later (on own) after the tour but by end of tour wonder how many ppl would not want walk back again. Bought tour with meals included which I feel most worth it. You can have the meals between 11.30am till 6.00pm as v already have an heavy breakfast, came back at 4.00pm for meals n enjoy sunset overlooking harbour bridge. It’s so “happening” here after dark with live music etc…. Overall, one should try at least once!

Fantastic building with knowledgeable guide - The walking tour was well worth it. Good commentary and saw inside of both the main performance spaces. Amazing construction. The meal and drink was nothing special. You can buy the same items at the two restaurants cafe as the meal is just a voucher to use at either of those places. Not sure it saves any money
