Amazing! - The taco tour with Luke is a must do when in San Diego! Not only does he make you feel like you’re having a ride around town with a family friend who happens to live in San Diego, you get information about San Diego and different neighborhoods. And the taco places we visited were out of this world! The shrimp at Salud! can’t be missed. Really loved this laid back, informative and beautiful sunset tour in Luke’s taco bus!

The BEST Tour Ever. - Luke was a great tour guide introducing me to the city of San Diego. It was my first time taking a train from Los Angeles to San Diego, which I had no idea what the city and culture. The moment I stepped onto the bus, it was festive and decorative, which made me feel like I was in paradise. The tour typically takes about 2 1/2 hours, which you stop at two taco places and then mostly explore the cultural and historical landmarks of the city. Personally, this was the best tour for me since there is not too much-spoken information about the culture, which is simple to understand bite-size pieces. Luke displays a tv right in the middle of the bus, which was used in this case to display more visual pictures as you stop at each place. The pickup and dropoff was a simple process for myself. I took an Uber to the stop, and then Luke greeted me right at the bus as I got off my uber ride. You can request to be dropped off at your original destination, but Luke is lenient about where you want to be dropped off specifically. The first stop that he makes on tour is Salud Tacos. I explained in detail my recommendation, which listed in the photos I posted below. After that, you pass through a modern-looking graffiti art park that is under a freeway. The best part of the tour was getting a relaxing view of the city while sitting on the bus and also getting a view of Sunset Cliffs Park. There could be some minor improvements on the taco tour. I want to try samples of each taco instead of deciding what taco to get, which makes it hard to choose when going on the trip. Luke could communicate with each taco place and let the people of groups know that there are many people coming and that they would like to try their tacos. Despite that, I had a wonderful time on this tour compared to traditional tours with too much information to learn about the culture. To end my review, I would arrive 10-15 mins early so you get to understand the viewpoints and the stops that Luke will make on the tour. Bring a camera or use the camera on your iPhone since you will be getting insta-worthy photos as Luke drives by each viewpoint. When I was on the tour, I was a bit cold which I recommend wearing athletic pants with tennis shoes and also wearing a comfortable jacket. You will not be walking around a lot, but I suggest packing light since the bus does not have any storage spaces. That concludes my review and hope it is helpful so you can get the best experience of the taco tour! - Matthew Nguyen
