Superb - Superb day out. From the camel ride, to breakfast and the hike up for lunch in the mountains and then back down to the waterfalls. Mustafa was full of information. Cannot recommend enough

Trip to do again! - Good organization, kind and helpful. The trek, although short, is not trivial and you need suitable shoes to avoid the risk of slipping. Excellent lunch in a domestic location...applause for the unscheduled detour for a camel ride for the children. Thank you !

Marvelous - Everything has been wonderful, I have learned a lot about the Berber culture, we have eaten in a great place. You can tell that the guide notices what he is doing, and that makes the visits even better. Thank you so much!

A lovely walk with delicious food and a nice waterfall - A great walk with delicious food. We booked a day walking trip to the Atlas mountains Oureka valley and waterfalls through one of the many small offices in the Madina offering  day trips and excursions.  The operator contacted us via WhatsApp the evening before to confirm a pick up point and time. The transport did turn up on time. The trip described  the trip to be approximately 60km from Marracech and approximately 1 hour drive, 1 hour after the pick up we were still on the outskirts of the city. I supppose it depends if you are the first or last to be picked up. The guide was friendly and fed us with a stream of "facts" about the local area as we made our way to the mountains. We stopped at an Argan oil cooperative run by widowed women. You get a free small local breakfast and an explanation  of Argan oil. It expected you to purchase some oil products. (this stop off is not mentioned in the tour) you just need to accept it is trying to make business and uses up some of the day trip. The actual trek was pleasant and weaved up from a village along  a steady uphill trail with plenty of good views of the valley. We stopped for lunch at a newly built cafe and sat on the roof, we got a demonstration of tagine cooking before having a good lunch of salad bread and chicken tagine. Lunch was nice and these was plenty of it but it was too drawn out as we were there for approximately one and a half hours. We continued a downhill trek through the trees to the waterfall area. The waterfalls are lovely and there are stalls selling fresh juice and souvenirs of course. The trek down for approximately 30 minutes is in the trees so it is cool. The transport will drop you back in the city or back to the same place as you were picked up. Overall a lovely experience and worth the money(at the time €25 each)
