Great tour but challenging - We had booked a half day trip and were spontaneously invited to join the whole day because all other guests had booked the full day trip. We didn't regret it! The snorkeling was great and the hike to the waterfall a real highlight. But beware: For this hike you have to be really fit! In places you have to pull yourself up/down on ropes. The tour guides are very nice and tried and simply carried our 5 year old daughter over the most difficult places. But: The stones are very slippery and I fell despite water shoes and smashed my shin. I would do the tour again at any time, but next time just keep my sneakers on and run with them through water and mud. The subsequent stop to eat was very nice. The food itself was delicious and swimming in the river with swing rope was fun.

The Best Start for Our Honeymoon! - We have always wanted to see the big wave, and boy did we! But that’s not all. The half day tour takes you down the peninsula for up close looks at the lush Tahiti-iti west coast—past the end of the road, where residents can only get to and from their homes by boat. Some of the most beautiful coral, and stunning colorful fish. A stop for snorkeling at the sand bar is the perfect way to cool off in the mid-afternoon. And then once you’re all salty, straight to an enchanted jungle river for the most refreshing rope swing dip into the cold fresh water. The hosts make the entire experience so much more amazing! They give you all the fun facts and are among the friendliest folks we’ve ever met. As we were the only native English speakers on the boat, they put in the effort to translate all of the heavy-hitting jokes and laughs from the others. An absolutely perfect way to start our honeymoon. Thank you so much for an amazing time!

A perfect half day trip - It's a fairly long car ride from Papeete (some 90 minutes), but well worth it. This family run business has been around for quite some time, and unlike their "new" competition, eager to jump on the Olympic games bandwagon, they know what they're doing and where to go. A perfect halfday trip, with some refreshments and fruit from the owners'garden. What else ?

To do without fail! - To do without fail in French Polynesia, What a great experience with Haunui and Robert. We left the marina at 9:00 a.m. and returned at 12:30 p.m. Very nice stop for snorkeling for 30 to 45 minutes, colorful fish. Then, visit to the big wave which is really impressive, the French team was there to practice, it was a pleasure to watch them. We leave for a small river and a short walk in the forest with very pleasant swimming. Haunui gives us very interesting information about the region. Lunch is served to us, the homemade tuna bread is excellent. Then slowly it's back to the marina passing through a marine reserve where the corals are of rare beauty. A superb experience that I recommend.

If you're in Tahiti this is a must - Great day. Waves were amazing and hike was also fantastic. If you go to Tahiti this is a must. Our driver was a bit conservative, so he positioned himself mostly behind the wave, which doesn't show the impact as much. I wish he was a little more assertive. I get it's about safety, but we were the only boat on that side. Oh well was still great, but maybe he can position himself on the facing side going forward.
